Consider CONSIDER Charlie and Boss with reader who likes to draw

I am considering and YES!

Charlie

Charlie is an arts kid themself. Since, it is shown that they would make little crafts dedicated to the show.

So, they KNOW how much time and effort goes into making art.

And while they are your biggest fan, they will also be an honest critic.

Wanna engage in conversation with Charlie while they are in a bad mood but don't know how to go about it? Simple. Just draw some characters from the Edward Razorhands movie and show it to them, asking for criticism.

Their mood will get better, cause 1) It's you, 2) It's Edward Razorhands and 3) You drew it.

If you are looking for anyone to draw as posing reference, look no further than Charlie. They will grumble if you ask them, so drawing them in secret will work. They are good reference for annoyed, frustrated, or sassy poses and facial expressions.

You tried asking them to draw in your sketchbook too. And, they were actually above average at drawing. They still prefer crafts though.

Boss

Okay, so I feel as though Boss would actually be good at drawing.

This mainly stems from the fact that he took drawing classes or painting classes while he was alive. And in an attempt to gain his parents, approval he tried everything.

This included mastering drawing too.

So, like Charlie, he is aware of how much effort and time it takes to master a skill. He is more open to complimenting your work though.

You helped him find another way to approach drawing. Since he gave up on it while he was a mortal. His parents didn't bother with it, no matter how hard he tried. So was there a point anymore?

One of his favorite times is when the office is quiet and it's just the two of you. He can hear the sounds of your pencil scraping against the paper and he admires how focused you are. To the point where you zone out your surroundings. He is a bit envious. After all, he would give anything to be able to silence the voices in his head. and focus on something.

Accidently an iconic poser. You can easily draw fighting stances from observing him.

I know his mother dead .

I think it was mentioned by team 344 that Eugene's dad works overseas and doesn't pay as much attention to the kid.

Let's be honest though, Dad!Boss is better than the real deal. Seeing as how Eugene's dad didn't bother with the child.

Honestly, I like to pretend that he does meet his family in between, with Boss, River or Joan. And ever since Eugene came to the office, he mostly asks Eugene to visit his parents with him. It would add to the bond they have and Eugene may sneakily check up on Hayden's parents in the mortal world (Similar to how he checks up on Linda).

So, in the pinned post it says you have 6 requests pending. Is the number still accurate or is it more now? Or less?

Well, no.

I forgot to update the number of requests I have but to give a count now, I would say 10 from just tumblr alone. Honestly didn't expect these many, but I actually enjoy seeing them. Even though they have been sitting in my ask box collecting dust because I lost motivation to write in between.

I am trying to get back into the swing of things, and posting one request per day.

Thanks to everyone that has requested and is being patient with me! I'll try my best to follow through.

honesty i have no clue what happened to boss after he left the office to eugene, but i dont think that he disappeared right after this because we can clearly see his body being all black, only the scars that river left on him were glowing

i cant even tell if he was happy about ghosts finally leaving this world, or feel abandoned and lonely again, regretting the things he said and the ones he didnt & being the source that caused this chaos; maybe both

i wanted to see the continuation after the end of the game, (the same reader with daddy issues that i requested earlier, already dead) that couldnt let myself pass to the other side because of boss, she just wanted to take care of him like he did to everyone in the office, wipe his tears if he ever cried, hug him whenever he felt worse and help him forgive yourself

"It's all gone. It's over." Y/N commented, looking at the rubble and remains of the underworld office.

"The door has collapsed," Boss started, "There will not be as many evil spirits descending on this place anymore."

"So you're saying," Charlie looked around before their shoulders slumped, "Damn."

Boss took his fan and the lock of River's braided hair. He seemed lost in thought for a few moments as he gazed at the two items in the palm of his hands. After a few minutes of silence, he walks over to Eugene and places the two keepsakes in the mortal's hands.

Eugene, surprised by Boss' actions, takes a minute to process before speaking up, "Boss, I told River... that I'd cry with her, get angry with her..." They paused before exhaling, "I told her no matter what she decided to do, I'd be there for her." A small smile made it's way to their face.

A feeling of pride swells in Boss' chest and he laughs, an action which startles and creeps out Charlie. "My God", says the latter.

As the elder ghost laughs, the locket falls from the tattered fan, causing him to stop. He picks up the locket and turns around to face Y/N.

"What about you , Y/N? Do you not wish to cross to the other side?", He asks.

Conflicted, Y/N wringed their hands, "Well... there's nothing for me on the other side. And... I'm not sure if I can stay here without getting emotional, you know? With River, Joan and Hayden gone." They scratched the back of their head. "Besides, whether it's a rule or not, I do owe you for everything you did for me all these years. Granted, you were terrifying at times, but you were more of a parent than my actual ones. So... I'd rather follow you and help you out." Y/N finished, nervously putting their hands in their pockets as they awaited his reply.

Boss' face seemed unreadable as he looked at them, "Are you sure?"

Y/N looked over to Eugene, who nodded at them and smiled.

"Yeah, I'm sure." Y/N said, 'Dad' they added at the end, speaking in old korean as Boss taught them.

Boss laughed before patting their head and speaking back in korean, "Thanks kid."

Mommy? Do I look like- (Charlie and Reader)

Charlie cracked their back as the chaos finally died down. They looked over to see you kneeling down and talking to the child you both had rescued earlier that night. Their gaze softened as you chatted with the kid, trying your best to be gentle so as to not scare them away.

Walking over to you, they placed their hand on their hip while listening in on the conversation.

"- gotta say kid, you handled yourself pretty well back there."

The child beamed at your compliment, before you patted her head.

"Let's get you to the office." You stood up, grunting as you did so. You cracked your back, and cringed at the pop that resulted. Rubbing the sore spot, you took a deep breath.

You held out a hand towards the kid, and tightened your grip when she took it. Beginning your ascend, she immediately grabbed your legs in fear. Clearly not used to flying, you took her in your arms and patted her back. She wrapped her arms around your neck.

"Hold tight, kid." you smiled at her.

The kid nodded before looking at Charlie, the latter's mouth turning downwards in a frown. She extended her hand to them, causing them to quirk a brow, "Huh?"

"I'm scared too, but maybe if we hold hands, you will feel less scared.", the child offered.

You snorted at that, grinning at Charlie who, felt their face burn a bit from the embarrassment.

"I am not scared." they spoke defensively. You hid the smile that formed on your face with the back of your hand.

The child tilted her head in confusion, she decided to let the matter go.

"Ready?" You asked.

She nodded in reply, and soon the two of you were flying, with Charlie close behind.

The flight back was relatively quiet, with the kid humming a few times in between and you joining her. And before you knew it, you had reached the entrance of the underworld office, which was empty, as expected. You placed the child down gently, and she took your hand as the three of you walked in.

"That was fun! Could we do it again?" the girl said, rubbing her eyes as she tried to stifle a yawn.

You gently patted her head, "How about you get some rest, huh?"

She whined gently as she clung to your pants, burying her face, "Do I have to? I don't really like sleeping."

"Why?"

"I get nightmares sometimes. And- and, I know mommy says that I have to learn to not be scared, but I am! I don't want to tell her because she gets very mad when I try to talk to her. " She looked down, as she tightened her hold on your pants.

"Well, how about Charlie and I stay with you? If anything happens, we can help you out." You offered, annoyed at the mother of the child.

A small part of you wondered where her mother was when she died. You'd think that a child so young would at least be under adult supervision when left alone at night.

"Really? Is it okay?" her eyes brightened at the offer.

"Eh, shouldn't really be a problem kid." Charlie piped up from beside you.

"Thank you, thank you!" She let go of you and pounced on Charlie.

"Hey-" Charlie cried out as the two went falling down.

You smirked at Charlie, who in turn, sent an annoyed look at you.

Walking over to a bench, you sat down and pat the space beside you. "How about you try lying down and keeping your head on my lap?"

The girl nodded, following your instructions. Sure enough, the exhaustion from the day's events started to take over. But it was obvious that she tried to keep herself awake.

"What's the matter?" You asked, running your fingers through her hair.

"I am scared to sleep." She confessed, averting your gaze, as though she was afraid of judgement. "What if something happens?" She continued.

"Well, Charlie and I are here to look out for you." You gently responded, "And if anything happens, we will handle it. And make sure you are safe."

"Promise?" The child looked at you, hopeful.

"Cross my heart and hope to die." You replied.

"Alright." The kid yawned, "Thanks, mommy."

Your eyes widened in surprise and you looked at Charlie, who just shrugged in confusion.

"Uh-" You started, unsure of how to reply, "No problem... kid."

The kid drifted off to sleep. Sighing, you leaned back.

"You can't get attached to her." Charlie gently reminded, their tone a stark contrast from the usual harsh and grumpy one they talk in.

"I know." You stated softly, wondering what was to be done next.

What was in store for the future of this kid?

Taking care of you (Boss x reader)

CAN YOU DO ONE WITH RILEY/YN BEING INJURED AND TRYING TO HIDE IT (bonus points if it's from parent/s) AND BOSS FINDING OUT AND BEING OVERPROTECTIVE

Y/N closed the room behind them gently, afraid of upsetting their parents even more if they slammed it. Feeling the pain in their right hand from holding the ice pack too long, they transferred the ice pack to their other hand. Slumping against the door, they pressed the pack against their cheek, wincing at the cold and the spreading pain. They blinked rapidly before noticing a figure out of the corner of their eye. Their cheeks flushed in embarrassment as they realized they were being watched while their parents yelled at them.

"He must've seen them slap me too," they thought to themselves before leaning their head back against the door. They closed their eyes and tried to ignore the other person's presence in the room.

But their efforts were in vain as they yelped at the feeling of another hand touching theirs. With their eyes wide open, they watched as Boss gave them a look of concern. Gently taking the ice pack from their hands, he motioned for them to come closer before placing the cool packet on their cheek. He furrowed his brows as he saw Y/N hiss in pain, mumbling under their breath. They raised their eyebrows at him curiously, to which he shook his head.

“Do you wish to talk about it?” He asked gently, hoping he didn’t cross any line or make the other uncomfortable.

Y/N hesitated for a moment before nodding and feeling a sudden urge to confide in someone. Boss lowered the ice pack and listened attentively as they recounted the argument with their parents and the physical altercation that had taken place. As Y/N spoke, Boss could feel his own anger rising at the injustice of it all. When Y/N finished, he placed a reassuring hand on their shoulder and said, "I'm sorry you had to go through that. You don't deserve to be treated that way." Y/N looked up at him, surprised by the sincerity in his voice. "Thank you," they said softly, feeling a sense of relief that someone finally understood. Boss smiled gently and said, "Anytime you need someone to talk to, I'm here."

Feeling their emotions take over, they tackled Boss into a hug before burying their face in his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around them and held them closer.

Boss heard Y/N snoring softly in his arms and relaxed, glad that they were finally resting. He gently moved them to ensure he didn't accidentally wake them up and then lifted them up to carry them to the bed. On the way, he noticed that the living room light was no longer seeping through the crack under the door, and he thought to himself that Y/N's parents were probably asleep. His anger flared up once more as he remembered what Y/N told him.

“Ghosts shouldn’t interfere with the lives of mortals.” He remembered, gritting his teeth. 

Yeah no.

Rules be damned for tonight. 

Maybe it was River’s influence rubbing off on him.

He wasn’t sure.

But he didn’t care.

Because there was no way he was going to let Y/N’s parents sleep soundly tonight.

Ight so I wasn't even going to send a request cuz I didn't think my idea was that worth it but my sister kept pestering me about it so here ya go.

Okay so basically this goes based off the premise of the new Doctor Strange movie. Basically in the movie they said how dreams are actually visions to you from another universe.

So I kept thinking, what I'd Eugene, from the true ending, started to have dreams of the other endings? From the nice, peaceful one with Luka to the mist horrific and terrifying one where he turned into a monster and got sealed.

And I'm not sure if ghosts dream since they don't sleep, they mostly just seem to have memories as dreams, but maybe Boss starts having "daydreams" of those other endings too. But we can also scrap that because Eugene will come to him either way about these dreams and maybe it affects how he sees Charlie since he sees how much worse Charlie could have made things.

Maybe after everything Eugene opens up about these nightmares and if we go with the fact that Boss also sees them then so does Charlie and he is also scared of becoming like that again.

But yeah, that's my prompt, they have dreams about the other possible endings.

i had a weird but still cute dream about uwo, where the whole office wanted probably to kill someone, but they were hiding it from boss so he wouldnt be worried, he seemed so happy, everyone knew about the real rules about bright and dark but noone was mad, eugene and boss seemed like really happy father & son duo playing together and smiling on a swing, boss even put his hat on eugene and i want to cry from happiness since i saw all that and the whole office ended playing together

so after all that, could you do some headcanons with boss spending time with office members like nothing bad ever happened ☹️🙏🏻 living their best lives as ghosts and caring about each other, zero problems and bad thoughs,, please please please <3

Good god someone help this man handle his chaotic family (Platonic headcanons)

Boss & River:-

They just radiate too much sibling energy.

The bickering, the way they care about each other (Boss scolding Eugene for calling River to a place she couldn't go).

Although they argue and fight, they are the most effective and scariest duo.

Legit, threaten Eugene and these two will throw hands. You have the silent and deadly one teaming up with a carefree and strong fighter.

They have solved the most number of cases together.

And they have competitions about who has solved the most cases in the month.

River has challenged him to flying competitions.

The two have talked about their pasts. Although it took Boss a long time to open up, he started to view her as family (she was the first person for him to see that way)

River has seen Boss get mad before. She has seen him rage to the point where he stopped caring about mortals. It wasn't as though he became a bad person, he was sick of fighting and defending people who did such sinful things. While that time was brief, she admits that she would much rather prefer seeing him care about mortals than not.

He pushes River to solve cases. Not because he wants to overwork her, but because he wants her to get rid of her misdeeds. (I came up with this headcanon before CIU came out. So I didn't know about the whole misdeeds are decided by you thing.)

River speeds him up to date about the world. Even though he knows plenty since he has been a ghost for a long time, there are things which he doesn't have knowledge about (He is a boomer)

Boss & Eugene:-

The best father-son duo.

Boss has trained Eugene to use his fan.

Boss and everyone in the office has attended Eugene's graduation day.

Eugene has definitely asked Boss (and Joan) for help in history.

Boss watched over Eugene for a while after the teen became an official member of the office.

Eugene would come to Boss for advice.

After a while of being in the office, Eugene cracked his first dark joke and Boss laughed, hard. Everyone was shooketh and thought 'Oh damn. World is definitely gonna end today.'

Boss & Joan:-

Boss views Joan as a mother figure. (Now we know the real reason being his mom was hot garbage)

Joan would share stories about her days.

Boss learnt how to knit from her. She nagged at him for not having a life outside the office and he had no idea what to do besides stopping monsters. So she taught him how to knit.

They have visited her children together. She has even remarked how Boss felt like 'one of her own'.

Boss relies on her from time to time when it comes to making plans. Since she has experience in the military and war.

He sometimes asks her for advice.

She ensures he doesn't overwork himself.

Joan has taught him how to use her gun.

Boss & Hayden:-

After Hayden met Eugene, the kid became even more curious about school. So, Boss took him to a small one at night. He smiled fondly as Hayden swung on the swings and wrote on the board with chalk.

Boss would tell stories about kings and queens.

Other than Eugene, Hayden is the only one who Boss compliments openly.

Boss has sung to hayden.

He visits Hayden's parents with Hayden. There will be times where the kid cries and Boss holds him.

He has taught Hayden a few tricks about his fan. Not too much though.

He takes Hayden to the park to have fun in the kid's play area every weekday in the night. Less chances of running into mortals.

Boss would play with the cats Hayden befriends. He is particularly close with one kitten which he nicknamed '어린이' (Pronunciation eolin-i) which translates to little one in korean.

He takes Hayden to cat cafes.

Boss and Everyone:-

Movie nights. At first, Boss objected but he eventually did join them.

He remembers everyone's birthday. And tries celebrating it too.

Overprotective over every single one of them.

Once Eugene introduced them to monopoly, their family nearly tore apart. With Hayden pointing out the unfairness of the game, Boss quietly planning what places to buy, River chaotically buying all of them to piss him off and Joan trying to control her kids while trying to not land in Jail for the umpteenth time.

UNO was even worse. Boss would keep the best cards for last, River would try to trick her way to victory, Joan grumbling about how the game doesn't have proper rules and Hayden just winning without even trying.

Eugene is the poor spectator for both games.

If you think Wii is something they can play peacefully, YOU ARE DEAD WRONG. Let's just say, the last time they played it, the TV had a controller in just stabbed in the middle.
