first oneshot in my chase atlantic series ! if you haven't heard this song already, you should totally listen to it if you want, its very good and i think it fits asahi perfectly !

when asahi left the gym, y/n was waiting by the door for him. just like she always was. she greeted him with a smile, like she always did, but asahi found his own smile didn't quite reach his eyes. y/n took his hand in her's and they started walking, but no conversations were started.

it was weird, asahi thought, how perfectly y/n's hand seemed to fit in his. like her's were made just to hold his. the weird part was how horrible asahi felt about their relationship. everyday, y/n waited for him so they could walk home after his practice. she deserved better than a boyfriend who she spent so long waiting on. but if she deserved so much better, why did asahi want her to stay with him so badly? why did her hand fit his so perfectly?

"how was practice?" y/n asked, her sweet voice cutting through asahi's dull thoughts.

he shrugged, "same as always. i don't really wanna talk about it, i'm thinking."

y/n frowned and stopped walked, "that's fine, what's on your mind?"

before he could think better of it, asahi replied, "your skin, like, you're hands. you feel so perfect for me, but i feel like you should be with someone better. someone who has enough time to see you."

"asahi, don't say that! you're so out of my league, i don't want anyone but you," y/n replied, sounding shocked that asahi would even suggest she deserved better.

he still wasn't convinced, but they finished their walk to her house in silence. normally, asahi would just drop y/n off and head back to his place, but once they arrived, he didn't want to leave her just yet.

"do you mind if i..." asahi trailed off, but y/n nodded, understanding what he was getting at.

they both walked inside quietly, careful not to wake up y/n's sleeping family. her room was upstairs, away from everyone else's, so they didn't have to worry about talking quietly in her room. her window was open just a crack, but the breeze from outside felt nice blowing through the room. asahi took a seat on her bed, and y/n climbed into his arms, a soft smile on her face, although he still felt troubled.

asahi trusted y/n completely, yet he couldn't help his doubts creeping in. what if he was too scary, or too busy, or the thousand other negative traits he applied to himself. y/n always reassured him that she wouldn't leave, but asahi knew quelling his doubts completely would take time.

he didn't want to dwell on that though. not when he had y/n wrapped in his arms, and her hands trailing up and down his back. tonight, he decided, his mind's only focus would be on y/n, and enjoying his time with her.

"this is nice. i like the vibes," y/n mumbled with a small giggle at her word choice.

asahi nodded, a soft smile on his face as he looked down at her. they spent the rest of the night like that, tangled in each other's arms. the next morning, they walked to school together, and despite all the teasing from suga about how they arrived together, asahi was happy.

y/n took a drag of her cigarette, unaware that asahi was approaching from behind. he knew about her habit, and had been trying to help her break it, but it was difficult for her. she got stressed so easily, especially after her ex-boyfriend, and smoking always helped her ease it.

he was the one who'd gotten her into smoking, and then he cheated on her and left. y/n always joked about how many issues she got from that relationship, with little to no positives. asahi had been nothing but supportive of her though, and it was more than y/n could ever ask for. she tried to avoid smoking in front of him, to make him feel better about it, but sometimes she did get caught.

asahi didn't say anything as he took a seat on the park bench next to her, but he did take the cigarette out of her hand and snuff it out. he draped an arm over her shoulders, and y/n leaned into his touch. her chest felt heavy with guilt, even though she knew asahi didn't think any less of her.

"you can tell me to go away if you want to be alone right now," asahi said softly, like he was scared y/n would be mad at him.

"never, i would never want you to go away."

"you're too good to me asahi," y/n said after a few moments of silence.

she knew asahi wouldn't agree with her, but she also knew it was true. he was so kind and loving, and she did nothing but worry him. they continued to sit together at the park, until asahi offered to walk her home. they reached her house, and as if it was an unspoken agreement, he walked in with her to stay the night.

like always, her window was cracked open and the nighttime air was blowing throughout the space. y/n collapsed into her bed, pulling asahi down with her. his arms circled around her, and they talked softly about their days, ignoring the problems weighing down on them.

y/n knew relationships took work, and so did asahi. they both had baggage coming into their's, but they both knew working through it all would take time. in that moment though, all they wanted to focus on was their arms around each other, and the light energy in the air.

"thank you asahi, i like when we do this. i feel a lot better now," y/n said, breaking apart the conversation they were having about asahi's english class that day.

asahi nodded, "good. that's all i want; for you to feel alright."

then, they fell asleep together, their mutual issues on their minds. they knew it would take time, but as long as they had each other, they could work through anything.

akaashi keiji ft. paint night

“can you pass the blue?” akaashi asked after several moments of silence. 

you nodded and handed the paint tube over to him. this was easily the best part of your week. your weekly arts and crafts dates with akaashi were so relaxing, and you loved getting to spend some stress free time with your boyfriend. this week, you were painting together, and you’d decided to do a pretty field of flowers. 

“yours looks nice,” akaashi commented as he leaned over to glance at your canvas. 

“thanks!” you exclaimed, proud of your work as well. 

his canvas was a lot more abstract. it had lots of different colors swirled together, and he’d taken a sharpie and drawn some wavy lines over the splotches of color. 

“i like yours too keiji. it’s pretty. we could hang it in the kitchen,” you suggested. 

he smiled softly, “thank you, we do need to put something in there.”

you went back to painting petals on your little flowers, but you could feel akaashi’s eyes watching you. 

“hey eyes on your own canvas,” you teased, whipping your head around to give him a playful glare. 

before you could even react, akaashi flicked his paintbrush across your nose, smearing it with blue paint. your mouth dropped open in shock as he began to cackle at your reaction. 

“keiji! you’re an asshole,” you said, although not much anger was in your voice. 

you grabbed your own paintbrush, which was dipped in pink, and lunged for him. his arm ended up streaked with pink before he could jump backwards. 

“ha! gotcha,” you said with a smirk. 

he shook his head, a smug look on his face, before stretching his brush back towards you. some of it got on your own arm before you moved out of the way. then, all hell broke loose. your paintings forgotten, you both began a full on paint war. at one point akaashi grabbed another brush covered in yellow, and you grabbed your big flat brush you’d used for the green. 

by the time you both quit your battle, you were coated in colors. somehow your own pink and green was smeared on your cheek and arms, and akaashi’s colors were littered across his body too. you’d even got a bit of blue in your hair. however, you hadn’t had that much fun in a while. a content smile was on your face as you and akaashi basked in the moment together. 

“so, is your painting finished?” akaashi asked, glancing over at your canvas again, “because i think a bath sounds good right about now.”

osamu couldn't think of anything he enjoyed more than his evenings with you. sitting together on your back porch, mugs of tea in hand, just watching the sunset. in those moments he always felt immensely grateful he could call you his. your eyes were glued to the sun setting, while he found it hard to look away from you. the sun was illuminating your face in the most beautiful way, and osamu wondered how he could even look at the sun when you were right there next to him.

you twirled a piece of hair around your finger, a small smile appearing on your face. the blanket you'd taken off the couch was wrapped tightly around your shoulders, making you look like a cocooned butterfly.

"can you see the people down there?" you asked, your voice soft like the golden light.

osamu nodded, "we should take a walk down there tomorrow night. i bet it would be nice around this time."

you hummed in agreement, your eyes going back to the sky. your house was placed right near a lake, and oftentimes you would see people walking the edge of the lake at sunset. it was surreal, in osamu's opinion, that he was in the place he was. a house on the edge of the lake, his own restaurant, and most importantly, you.

he looked over to you again, and felt his heart melt a bit. you seemed so content to just watch the sky, and people walking past. he wished he could freeze this moment, and stay just the two of you watching the sun together. time seemed fantastical every night, when he was just enjoying time with you. you seemed to have an ability to slow down time when he was around.

the sun continued to creep down the horizon, and osamu admired how it reflected on you. every minute that passed you looked more and more magical. he wondered if you even knew the effect you had on him. he was so incredibly whipped for you. the light continued to go down, and as pretty as it made you look, osamu knew this moment was coming to an end.

osamu felt like he'd been with you for a lifetime. in the best way possible. it had been years since you'd met in high school, and you'd stuck by his side all throughout college and adult life. he knew the time was coming for the next step, and he was surprisingly content about it. growing up, the idea of kids always sounded so daunting.

he'd seen his mother struggle with him, and atsumu growing up, especially due to the absence of their father. osamu didn't want that for his own kids, so he'd sworn as a child he would only settle down when he found the right person, and find the right person he did. a smile threatened to break out on his face at the thought of having a family with you. he knew you would make an amazing mom, and the idea made him so happy, but slightly fearful. change was never his favorite thing, and you had a good thing going on.

the sun finally sank below the horizon, and his eyes wandered over to you again. you were sipping on your mug of tea, a relaxed smile on your face.

"are you cold?" osamu asked, noticing how much the temperature dropped in the absence of the sun.

you shook your head, "nope, the blanket's got me covered," you replied, giggling at your own pun.

osamu couldn't help but laugh as well. you just looked so perfect, he almost wondered if you were real. he was so in love with you, and the last thing he wanted was anything to change. moments like these were exactly how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you. he just hoped he'd never forget what it felt like to be this madly in love.

he nodded in agreement, pulling you a bit closer using the hand placed on your waist. 

“what flavor are you thinking bub?” he asked with his gaze trained on the extensive menu. 

“no clue, there’s so many options, and they all look really good,” you said with a small giggle. 

osamu nodded again, before an “aha!” look passed over his face. 

“excuse me,” he said to the girl behind the register, “can we test the flavors?”

“of course! we have tester spoons, and you can have as many as you’d like!”

your eyes widened excitedly, “thank you! can i try the rose flavor?”

the lady passed you a spoon, and you tried it. it was really sweet, but with a nice natural rose flavor. 

“this one’s really good bubba, here try it.”

you reached up with the spoon so osamu could try it, and he smiled. 

“yeah, i like that too,” he agreed. 

you both tried a couple more flavors, each letting the other try their pick. finally, you both decided on your flavors. you decided to eat your gelato at the tables outside, since you both had nowhere to be, and it’s nice to get out of the house sometimes. 

“you should start serving gelato at your place,” you suggested with a bright smile. 

osamu laughed, “if we did i would just eat it all day.”

“but you could also bring me home some,” you added with a laugh of your own. 

“i’ll keep that in mind bub.”

you grinned and leaned over to plant a kiss on osamu’s cheek. his smile grew even wider at that.

“you’re the sweetest,” you said, a smile growing on your face.

Hi again! Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry to bother you. I seriously cannot choose what to send in a request for, I was only going to do an astrology and a personality matchup but I really love your selfship stuff too. I would seriously send in a request for everything, but I would feel extremely guilty if I did though. I know you say it’s alright to ask for as many crystals as we’d like, but I feel super uncomfortable sending in 3 requests considering they all take time and effort. Would it really be alright?
