Alumni Meet - KM College I'm glad to have been invited and participated in the most-awaited alumni meet of my alma mater Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. On 8th April 2023 Kirori Mal College celebrated its Alumni Meet dedicated to the memory of its acclaimed artists alumni actor Satish Kaushik sir and our MUSOC senior KK sir and @sonamohapatra sir.I got to meet @satishkaushik2178 sir once and amount of warmth, encouragement and generosity I received was unbelievable.He said - ‘KMC se ek banda har saal mein le jaunga Bollywood...Mumbai aana toh phone karna’.Gone too soon sir ! I also got the opportunity to hang out with @kk_live_now sir a few times.We clicked perfect MUSOC-Family pictures together with him.Indeed he was a legend and yet one of the most humble singers indeed.Always an inspiration... What an alumni meet it was.From 1980s onwards, particularly after it was taken over by the University, the College status rose and rose. Today it is one of the most sought after college , high scoring on all parameters : academic, co and extra curricular activities, art and culture, research and innovation. It scores very high on NAAC & NIRF ranking.And I’m blessed to be a part of this college-family. Many of the illustrious alumni attended and spent hours in the College. They forgot they are occupying top echelons in their respective fields and reverted back to their 'Old Boys' ( of course girls also but I dare not prefix 'old' with them). I’ve no words to describe and express what I felt after watching these paintings.Two extraordinary artists and lovely human beings.I couldn’t believe that Mr. Anil Soni ji put us on the canvas right in front of eyes and Miss Divya Verma made a vibrant persona of ShriKrishna within no time.I’m inspired and honoured to have collaborated with them. कुछ ऐसी महफ़िल ही सोची थी मैंने - अंतरंग ! Being an artist is so incredible, a privilege, I wouldn't change it for the world or anything.There is thirst within an artist and it always remain the same.I’m seeking something but i’m certainly sure that life has no objective.If I can motivate, heal and make someone happy through my music that’s a successful life for me.Evenings like these make me realise that life is beautiful.
