the cullens playing among us but it's just edward and rosalie pretending they don't know when bella and emmett get impostor. emmett never checks the cameras so he always gets caught by either rosalie or jasper who seat in security like the try hards they are. bella actually gets cocky after so many wins bc she's really good at it, so she starts using the vents in front of edward bc she knows he won't say shit. she always leaves him for last if she can bc he's the perfect alibi and always lies for her like the third impostor that he is lol jasper is an amazing crewmate detective but kinda bad as imp, he takes too long waiting for the perfect kill and planning out his moves and alibis, so the others end up winning by task. alice is only allowed to play when she gets impostor, and even then she's on thin ice bc she rarely ever loses except for the times they see ppl are dying too quickly, so they just vote her out with no evidence to be safe lol carlisle and esme rush tasks and keep up the peace during meetings bc everyone else ALWAYS argues. and yet, no one can beat edward and rosalie as impostors. they go about the spaceship together double killing everyone before anyone even has the chance to report a single body. when edward gets crewmate and bella isn't the imp, he likes just focusing on the tasks and minding his business, his favorite map is probably polus or the spaceship bc of the different, cooler tasks.

My favorite Cullen headcanons are the ones like these. So weirdly specific, but also so right?

Like Jasper absolutely would strategize too long, and the others would win by task. Edward is such a simp, he absolutely would lie for Bella so she can win. Rosalie and Edward would murder people together and absolutely destroy.

And my heart just got so soft for Edward because he could play long distance computer games with his family.

Dark Carlisle (aka Darklisle) Headcanon

It was Carlisle’s plan all along to build a talented and strong coven to challenge the Volturi.

Carlisle doesn't have a power. Except, that's a lie. He does. He has the power not to manipulate, per se, but to project what he wants others to hear him thinking. Much like a mask or the confidence of a con man.

Edward thinks he can read Carlisle's true thoughts. He can’t. He hears what Carlisle intends for him to hear.

Aro thinks he has seen everything in his friend-rival's thoughts. He hasn’t. He's only seen what Carlisle wants him to see.

Alice thinks she knows the motivations behind Carlile's choices to protect the family. She doesn’t. She can’t see the outcomes of Carlisle's choices because he pretends not to have made them.

He works in hospitals not because of his love of protecting humans, but because the nature of his coven means he must go somewhere small. Small, insular communities rely on physicians — he intentionally puts himself in a position of power in every community he moves the family to live in.

Carlisle did find a way to survive on animal blood because he doesn’t want to feed on humans, this is true. He views every human as a potential valuable addition to his coven — it's not because he values life, but rather potentially gifted life. He sees no value in feeding on humans and risking being found when his position as the local Good Doctor gives him far more power and leeway to build a permanent home where he can feed, protect and defend.

And also a base to attack from.

In building his coven, he has intentionally made their position as strong as the Volturi:

Esme’s gift of passionate love helps bind the coven similar to Chelsea of the Volturi, allowing Carlisle to have a coven much larger than normal under the guise of "family."

This is not his first attempt at making a coven large enough to challenge the Volturi. He’s tried siring an army before and found a large group to be too unpredictable, too prone to infighting. Without a trait like Jasper's to mollify or Esme's to bind, he could never have more than one other bonded pair following him. So he was eager to add Jasper to his coven.

His time among humans taught him that they would do irrational things in the name of family. And so he set out to build a family.

He chose Forks because he knew the tribe would shapeshift and he could manipulate his way into having additional supernatural backup during a battle. He let Victoria play with the gaps in Alice’s vision to test their strength and pull the wolves in as their allies; he used Bella as bait to see how his coven would react to an assault. He encouraged Rosalie to tell Edward about Bella's supposed death to provoke Edward into clashing with the Volturi as a way to test his coven’s ability without an all-out loss — or challenge — to the status quo.

Carlisle hides behind this as Edward's fight, not his.

Carlisle's endgame is for vampires to exist openly in society. He wants to remove the Volturi because of their one rule: humans can’t know. He feels that vampires should be given a chance to integrate, and those who hunt humans should be treated as murderers. He wants the chance to be as normal as possible — and feels he should not have to hide the gifts he has from lesser mortals.

Does Darklisle even know he’s dark?
