Sometimes, in the show, when the light hits Crowley just right and he is in side profile, the arm of his glasses behind his ear looks like the piece of an industrual ear piercing and I can't stop thinking about how DAMN GOOD IT WOULD LOOK ON HIM!? It just feels so right for him.

The ear piercing has now entered personal my headcanon for him, together with the black nailpolish 👌

I only used traditional media in the past and just recently got myself an iPad to try more digital. It's a lot of fun! This took me a stupidly long time, but HERE'S MY ✨VISION✨ I'm not super happy with the colors, but hey, i'll keep experimenting.

Fourteen essentially has a compulsion to confess his honest emotions to people around him (you know, because of all the Trauma from keeping them secret last time) and it's both the best and worst experience of Simm!Master's life. He's horrified. He's extremely confused. Offended, scandalised, repulsed, breaking out in hives - you name it. But also the Doctor is bluntly admitting to being obsessed with him, and the Master is blue-screening over the weird fluttery feeling that gives him.

Honestly? Just chatting to me 😅 I'm absolutely terrible at sending messages first, but always happy to talk fandom and such!

🔪 ⇢ What's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

I don't know if it's very strange, but when I was writing The Game, I wanted to figure out how WW1 guns worked so I could describe one in a scene. I googled for a while, then ended up watching a YouTube video because I couldn't get it from a written description. Ended up with a very skewed YouTube algorithm for a while 😭 For Unbound I also did some very fun research into Victorian England!

I used to go by the username Sakuri on the likes of FF.net, YouTube, and LiveJournal, which I picked when I was about 13. But it got a bit... Mm. Pre-teen anime sounding? So when I re-joined fandom spaces at 25, I just picked a new one. Verayne, if I recall, was a name I'd once named a NeoPet and I loved it so much that I plucked it from the recesses of memory and dusted it off.

I'm going to take this in relation to writing and AO3. They're certainly not unread (I dive on any new comment like a feral creature desperate for sustenance), but I do currently have 41 comments from over the last month which I haven't replied to yet 😔 If anyone is waiting for a reply from me, please know I've likely read your comment or message multiple times and appreciate it so much - but these days it takes me a bit of effort to scrape together the social energy needed to do replies.

🦴 Is there a piece of media that inspires your writing?

I mean, it sounds like a cop out to say the source material, but I guess the source material? Although 🤔 Having said that, I definitely do that thing where, once I start writing, I don't often go back to the original show/book/game for as long as I'm working on that project. I also don't read other people's stuff while I'm writing in that fandom, mostly because I don't want to accidentally get influenced and change writing styles (which I used to do when I was younger).

Biggest media inspiration while actively writing would be music, to be honest. I usually have multiple playlists for each fandom I write in, for different moods and genres. I'm most productive when I go to a cafe with a pair of headphones and have a few hours to listen and daydream and write 😊

Doctor vs Master in terms of who I'd rather have as an enemy is Master all the fucking way. The thing about The Master is their number one priority is not their moral code or revenge or domination or being a villain no their number 1 priority no matter what is being high camp. If the master was after me I would just clap to lower the lights and make "masochism tango" start playing and then during the dance I'd cuff and collar them with some ridiculously strong stuff and at the end they'd be like "mon chéri...it seems you have foiled me for now, but we shall meet again" and then they'd kiss me hand and I probably would have at least a few years before they show up again. Whereas if you're not already in a deeply codependent situation ship and you piss off The Doctor their number one priority is Fucking Getting You. You can fuck off to the year 6 billion in the 13th dimension and they'll still find your ass and be like "I tripled your lifespan and also gave you anterograde amnesia so everyday you will wake up with fewer and fewer loved ones but the grief will be brand new" like jesus christ man i don't wanna deal with that
