I forgot to post here about how I put a whole turn based RPG into my game! The deep Kirby minigame lore enjoyers will know that this is supposed to be Kirby Quest, but it's also Bioshock 2 hacking.
This minigame has it's own set of power up cards and it scales up in difficulty as you win battles. Just as Sentinel's Quiz has questions that "level up" in difficulty as you go through them, this is just another condensed version of the overall game.
The game is sprawling fractals now. Everywhere you look it's just a smaller void raining. The Void Rains all the way down!
Also, this event will be getting it's own music next update!

Also, I dont know if this is presumptuous, but it seems like doing a lot of the writing is something that might not be done yet, given a lot of the stories havent been written yet. If you'd like help with the writing work, I am looking for some work. I dont have a portfolio for you, but I could send you some excerpts of little unpublished, unpolished drabbles I've written.
This game is my diary lol I just put it out there. But really, it's important I write this all myself.

I've been hit with brainworms about the eyeric language, and I've been trying to figure out as much of it as I can. I have a couple quick questions of things I can't seem to figure out (I have a lot, actually, but I just want to go with two that I don't think I'll be able to piece together on my own.)
There's a numeral in the alternate spelling of Rendy's name. Is that a 5 (based on his number of eyes) or something else?
I noted none of the dotted symbols (besides ai/self) have cards giving definitions. Is the only difference between dotted and undotted symbols pronunciation, or is there a meaning difference? And if there is, is the difference in meaning consistent between symbols?
I also understand if the answer is just "the language isn't that thought out". It honestly just started with trying to figure out what Hadesoh's curse word meant and then the curiosity ballooned from there.
Also thanks for the 85 hours and counting of incredibly fun game!

Around a dozen common monsters were not going to end up with events, but at this point it was feeling weird to exclude them, right? So let's put minigames in here! I've really stepped in the scope creep this time. These are so fun to make though, it's giving me life!
You can now give Voltage Veyeral a scrub with a minigame lifted right out of Helldivers. Notably, Helldivers 2 caused me to delay my last update by a day while I scrambled to finish this minigame that I decided to make on the spot. (Also I was playing it a lot lol)

In quick play, whenever you get all radiant medals for a monster, a nice way to show this could be having a radiant medal appear on the monsters name tag.

This may be an odd question
Is a Veyeral black or like a really dark purple?
Color is only the light that bounces off something. No light bounces off a Veyeral except at an angle where it barely misses the edges. It's not just ordinary black, it's more like a blind spot.

You know, as I often do, I thought about this a lot more and realized that Anonymous here was actually talking about the contrast between your shots versus enemy shots. I hear about background clashing with shots more often, so I kind of interpreted it that way. But I found something on the extremely long "To Do, But Only Maybe List" that I had forgotten about. And it's very simple, so I've promoted it to the main To Do List.
The option is simple, let you make your shots transparent. I already did it for helpers, so it will be easy to do, and it will probably solve this issue for Anomalous here.
What often happens is I focus on the suggestion offered, but usually that's not the best solution. In this case adding an outline or options to change all bullet colors come with a HUGE amount of new problems to solve. And these problems are not obvious to players at all. But it's not easy to get from those suggestions to "What if instead I make YOUR bullets see through as an option?"

Hey! we have problems seeing the red bullets (Fire and blood) over radiant damage that the player does (and in general just, seeing red). Maybe there should be an option that changes the color of all bullets to white? Or maybe just the bullet borders.
I've explored this before. It's just incredibly too much work and no single color I could ever pick works 100% of the time. So now we go into making an options menu for it. I'm just so burned out on UI like this, I can't do it. The best I have is to turn off the backgrounds which functionally solves 99% of the issue.
Edit: To further drive in how burnt out on UI I am. I've made alternate bullet sprites and background tints that come into effect in specific battles. Fight Hematoren (The blood glyph) on a night background, then on a day background, and now on the lava cave background that is mostly red. You will see the bullets and backgrounds all change to contrast better with each other. The lava background in particular changes a whole lot just to contrast blood and fire bullets. I did ALL OF THAT for hundreds of different combinations, and there is still never going to be a combination that works for everyone. The prospect of making a color picker menu is so soul destroying to me now, probably because it would mean all that work was pointless.
More Edit: I feel like I'm so negative now lol. I used to do nearly every quality of life request I got, but there's just so many now and they always get smaller scale while being inversely more difficult to implement. Although in this case this is a decently big scale problem, my solution was all the stuff I've mentioned above already.

I made like 6 different versions of eye attack that I never finished. That was the last one that also didn't get finished. TVRUHH was supposed to be a prequel 7 years ago, but it's clearly the main first game now.
