hey y’all!!! I know I’ve been a little quite school is gross bUt I wanted to do something to celebrate since this is my birthday month!!! so for this month I wanted to do somthing special by doing one paragraph requests!!! I’m not sure how many I’ll do but if you want here’s how to submit a request:

vocal rest scenarios

@darling-aries​ requested: Hey! I saw that you are wanting some request? I was wondering if I could request a singer MC who has been put on vocal rest (with possible vocal damage) because of overuse? I have done something very similar to this recently and it is awful. My speaking voice is really hoarse/non-existent if I speak for to long. I also have a cough that won’t go away. I just want some RFA boi comfort… :’( You can decide what RFA character you want to write for. Im not picky!

A/N: hi @darling-aries im so sorry that this request took so long and it’s only two characters T-T my summer has been surprisingly busy but i hope your vocal rest is going well & you’re feeling better!!! this is my fist time writing for these characters so I hope they aren’t ooc ;-; sending good vibes your way and i hope you’re having a wonderful day <3

- overused his voice a couple of times after doing too many intense performances in a row

- is willing to have a one-sided conversation while you text him and he talks to you

- whenever you try to talk to him, he’ll scold you just a lil bit

- “I want you to get better, jagiya. Can’t do that if you keep talking.”

- gives you excessive amounts of physical affection to make up for it

- lots of kisses on your throat all in the name of making you feel better

As much as you hated the whole “vocal rest” thing, this was pretty amazing. Zen had decided that, because you couldn’t sing or speak, this would be the perfect time to give you a private performance of his own creation. A medley of all of your favorite songs along with songs you performed before. Your round of applause sounded throughout the apartment. Zen took a deep and over dramatic bow, waving to an imaginary audience. “Thank you, thank you! I’ll be here all week!” Zen half-shouted, blowing kisses at you. Grabbing a water bottle and plopping himself on the couch next to you, he dragged you on his lap and took out his phone. “How’d I do babe? As amazing as you’d hoped?” he asked, expectantly waiting for your response. Typing out a flurry of praises, a handful of pings came from Zen’s phone. “I see,” he said, drawing out the “e”. “Your favorite part was when I had the least amount of clothes on, hmm?” he teased, pulling you closer to him. “If I didn’t know any better I’d think you only like me for my body,” he joked. At your pouting face he let out a loud laugh, the sound of your fast typing in the background. Another ping, your indignance showing clearly through your expression and text message. “Sorry jagiya, you’re just too cute to tease,” he said, his voice dropping slightly as he planted a kiss on your neck. 

- Jumin -

- probably more concerned than anything else

- also the silence in the apartment is a little unsettling for him

- you have unlocked “concerned husband”

- has a little furrow in between his brows whenever he hears you cough 

- unintentionally makes you laugh with his bluntness of how rough you sound

- “Your laugh sounds like a dog toy, darling.” 

- buys you all the fancy teas and remedies

- definitely takes off work at least the first day just so he can make sure you’re ok

- just a lil overbearing but it’s only because he wants you to make a full recovery!!!

“Jumin-“

“No darling, you have to drink the tea.”

You love your husband, you promise, but this is ridiculous. The third cup of tea you’ve had today and Jumin is insistent that you drink another. Letting out another painful cough, you grab the pen and paper Jumin had given you and write a quick response and hold out the paper. Reading your refusal to drink the tea, Jumin sighs. “You know I won’t force you, but please take care of yourself.” You nod at him, turning your attention back to the show you were watching. Out of the corner of your eye, you spot Jumin typing on his laptop, and check to see what he’s doing. Stifling a laugh, you read the name of the article he’s reading, “Top 10 Best Remedies for Vocal Rest.” Gently tapping on his hand to get his attention, you slowly close his laptop and Jumin looks at you questioningly. Writing out a quick response, you tell him how much you appreciate him taking care of you, but assure him that you’ll be fine. Once Jumin reads your response, he heaves a sigh and grasps your hand in his. “I have been a bit overbearing haven’t I?” he asks you, his brows furrowing a bit in consideration. As you nod, Jumin releases a deep breath and kisses your knuckles. “I just want you to feel better darling. I feel useless not being able to take this pain away.” He looks so sad and dejected, you give him a kiss between his brows to get him to relax. Grasping your hand, he kisses your ring finger once more before asking again, “Can I get anything else for you?”

“Just cuddles,” you wrote, and without another word, Jumin picked you up bridal style and carried you to bed, at peace knowing he’s helping you heal through his warmth and love.

Lessons Learned

A/N: Hello lovelies!!! I hope everyone is doing ok even tho the world is really goin through it. This is probably one of the most self indulgent things I’ve ever written. Also natasha might seem a bit ooc since I’ve never written for her before. Hope you all enjoy my fic!! also plz excuse all grammer mistakes i tried to get rid of all of them T-T

Summary: As a teacher, you try to emulate as much Ms. Frizzle energy as possible. Ms. Natasha Romanoff, the principal, has taken notice. 

Teacher!Reader X Principal!Natasha Romanoff (WLW)

You walked into your classroom, the bags under your eyes feeling heavier than ever. To say your morning had been going bad was an understatement. A spilled coffee on your lesson plan, a broken pair of earrings, and a traffic jam made it feel like the world was against you. Trying to keep some type of composure before it was 7:30, you took a deep breath and got to planning out your lesson for the day and the activities that went with it. Your cherry earrings swayed on your ears as you went about your routine, organizing bookshelves and grading papers. It was then that you noticed you had a small present near your computer mouse, its red bow shining in the artificial light. Considering that your students knew your taste, you knew it was either some sort of school supply or a pair of earrings. You had amassed quite the reputation as the ‘teacher with the earrings’, a proud achievement as a woman loving woman but also as someone who wanted to exude as much Ms. Frizzle energy as possible. As you were about to open the present, you heard the bell ring, the sound of teenagers walking through the halls going with it. Since the present had no note, you decided to just wait for your lunch break to open it, some of your more punctual students knocking on your classroom door. 

The day went on better after that, your students being on the calmer side and winning your daily roast battle with Mr. Wilson from across the hall. “Those papers should be in my inbox no later than 11:59,” you reminded the students as the lunch bell rang. Letting out a long sigh as you sat down for the first time in five hours, you went to grab your lunchbox when your eyes trailed to the gift on your desk. None of your students mentioned the present and no one from another period has visited your classroom. You thought it could be a student from another grade, but none of your pupils said they gave it to you. That’s when you realize it couldn’t have been a student because it was on your desk before school had started, and no students were allowed in the halls until the morning bell rang. The curiosity in you began to build before a small nugget of hope bubbled in your stomach. Your hands moved to grab the present before you heard a knock. The small window in your door showed a vague redhead, and a question formed. You got up from your desk, your expression surprised as you opened the door. “Good afternoon Ms. Romanoff,” you said, trying to mask your nerves with a smile, “how can I help you?” Ms. Romanoff greeted you with a small smile on her face. “I told you to call me Natasha, Ms. L/N,” she replied, almost embarrassed. You laughed nervously out of habit, your finger reaching for your earring to fiddle with it. It wasn’t that there was a problem with Ms. Natasha Romanoff, per se. The problem was that she’s the principal. The very attractive, cute, intelligent, and gay principal. Who also happened to make your heart race any time she was in the room. Which was very often considering you worked together. But that’s besides the point.

Jean Gunnhildr X Reader (GN)

The promise of correspondence has been kept, on both accounts. Normally once a month, sometimes twice if either of them weren’t too busy. Letters with wax seals, and cursive sent to the Adventurer's Guild. A welcome reprieve from the fighting and the quests. Letters stained with dirt and the occasionally pressed dandelion were sent to the Acting Grandmaster’s office, a sight that always made Jean breathe a sigh of relief. Some days, when the weight on both their shoulders grew too heavy, an extra gift would be sent. A new set of gloves for Jean, a new recipe for the Adventurer to make. Reminders, so no matter what went on in their lives, there was someone there waiting for a reply. A sign to know that someone cared. 

Opening their presents was one of Jean’s favorite parts of the day, next to greeting the stray dog that wandered outside the Knight’s headquarters. They always had something snarky to say, a story to tell, or an ominous message of trouble along the horizon. This letter was no different. “...And then I summoned my weapon, and by pure luck managed to strike the creature right between its eyes. Quite the battle of I say do myself,” they had written. Jean can imagine their hands moving as they talk, much like the first time the pair met. “But I hope you’re doing well. Send your sister my regards, and thank you for the spare Mora. All my love…” Neatly signed at the bottom, their signature, with a small drawing of a hilichurl at the bottom. 

Suppressing a smile, Jean sets the letter aside, glancing at the gift they sent. A picture they took, no larger than a journal. It was a portrait of them, holding up the bag of Mora Barbara had sent, a large smile on their face. Jean couldn’t help but stare. Though they were covered in scratches, a small bandage over their cheek, she thought they looked stunning. Jean didn’t think it was possible to articulate how much their letter brought up her spirits. Being the Acting Grandmaster was no easy job, but at least her life wasn’t in constant danger, a stark contrast to their profession. Not that Jean’s life wasn’t exciting, the citizens of Mondstadt made sure of that, but the energy that emanated from their letters was a welcome change from the other large stack of papers she had to read. Requests from other countries, diplomacy with the Fatui, commissions from townsfolk, all of it ended up in her mailbox. These letters, however, were always delivered with colored paper, sometimes torn in the corners or singed, but always smelling of rainfall. A respite Jean never knew she needed. 

It was a nice relationship they shared, one with no definite label, not that either of them minded. The lack of pretense helped them be more genuine, and Jean supposed that was one of the things that drew them closer. It was peaceful. 

Many say distance makes you feel more fond of someone, and Jean would have to agree.
