Hey hey! I'm still here! I'm a bit unmotivated and honestly I've been slacking off a lot these past few days but don't worry I'll get back to making comics soon, my ideas still remain!

I'll keep this short!

The first two pictures are part of the traditional clothing in the Central Italian Region of Lazio, which some of you might already be familiar with and that I'll keep drawing in the future since i like the look of it :D

Furthermore, it's actually been snowing a bit in italy and when it started snowing i drew the 3rd picture. Anyway I'll take some more time until I stop slacking off for good lol.

Updated the comic thing because apparently I'm dumb and didn't put the images in order and the shame I feel is unimaginable.

Public apology for being this dumb, now it's readable and i encourage you to read it again if it was confusing the first time!

🇫🇷🇮🇹Relations🇫🇷🇮🇹

In 1796 Napoleon with his army carried out the the Italian campaign which made France conquer a good chunk of Italy.

North Italy (To be specific: Savoy) had to sign an armistice so that he could switch under French rule instead of Austrian. North was really shaken up by the event but decided to sign anyway, knowing how he didn't like being under Austrian rule at the time, he even took a liking for France and they became friends, even after everything that has been done (stealing art etc)

South Italy was given to Napoleon's allies and relatives, dividing it in small states, he now has a lot of French influence because of the French rule, but nonetheless, many italians still view france as a competitor and someone that should give back everything that was stolen from Italy during the Napoleonic era and South is one of them, even if he's rather scared of him. Whenever they see each other, south always runs away.

Centro, on the other hand has a massive hatred for him, she was the only one of the three that had been completely been under French-only control at that time and she remembers very well that she wasn't treated with... Her favorite food and refused to eat any French cuisine because of the pride in her country. Every time they see each other she glares and is ready to fight him, even if she's much smaller and weaker than him. She was indeed treated well at his house but she longed to go back to her house with her brothers and France not permitting her to go back was one of the factors as to why she's diffident and cautious around him.

Her passive aggressive nature also shows up when there's a conversation going on between these two.

A lot of Italians, in real life, still hold resentment towards France and what they did to Italy, especially the part where Napoleon brings a lot of art pieces to France (example: The Atlantic Code by da Vinci, which is very important) and then never returned to the places where they belong. Online, it's usual to see an Italian fighting with someone who's French (or Austrian). But a lot of us are not that childish.

🇮🇹🇸🇲🇻🇦Auguri di Buon Natale!🇻🇦🇸🇲🇮🇹

It's almost been a year and it sounds crazy! 2020 was a big ride but everyone here was able to survive and be brave, we all should be proud of ourselves for getting this far and we should also encourage ourselves to always keep going.

So this took me two days ahaha, with the same protagonist trio!

I don't have much to say except that even if this is a lonely Christmas/Holiday, Italy managed to put up great and almost abstract pieces of Christmas lighting and many Christmas trees too!

Well, to anyone who celebrates it, merry Christmas! And to those who don't, enjoy the holidays and take a good ol' rest, because you deserve it.

🇮🇹Central Italy References🇮🇹

A long time ago, i made a pseudo-refetence for Centro in black and white but now I'm here again to bring the updated version!

Lilies are in the background of the reference because they're Italy's (and Florence's) national flower.

White Lilies, also known as Lilium "Stargazer", hold a religious meaning in Italy, they represent sweetness and purity, modesty and virginity.

Not only White Lilies represent Italy! There are also Red Lilies which more accurately represent the symbol of Florence!

Centro is a very expressive person who mostly exaggerates and makes everything more dramatic than it should be, creating a wide range and spectrum of expressivity, if i explained it correctly.

Fun facts/Headcanons?? Take them as you want (canon or not canon in your opinion):

She wants to be a comedian but laughs at her own jokes most of the time, this mostly stems from the fact that a really widespread stereotype about Tuscany having a lot of failed poets becoming comedians.

In contrast of that, I headcanon (even though she's my character) her to be a fairly good writer, inspired by Leopardi whom she has probably met in the past but also the "three poets of florence" AKA Dante, Boccaccio and Petrarca, each of them living in the same era and being great poets at the time.

It doesn’t matter how well-written, developed, and deep a character is, there will always be a group of people in the fandom that will reduce that character to 2 or 3 traits and then misinterpret everything they do based on those 2 or 3 traits which may or may not even be accurate to that character.

🇯🇵🇨🇳+Art Trade🇯🇵🇨🇳

The last 2 chibis are for an art trade with an acquaintance on Amino! Idk if they're on tumblr, otherwise I'd tag them

So yeah chibis! I'm super uninspired, I'm probably gonna draw concept art more than final works, i have one in process but I need motivation to do it. I also have a giant piece coming in about 2 months so please be patient! I've been trying my hardest to keep fast paced art and also improve and yes I do see many improvements! If you have any suggestions leave them here!

I was also thinking of making OC Requests. Like small chibi requests if you need a reference for a character etcetera and honestly i just want to help people develop OCs and all so- yeah! Maybe chibi requests will be open and I'll take max 5 slots because then I'd get super tired and unmotivated and I'm doing this to diversify the content on my platforms too! Of course, i have a main story to follow here, the three protagonists etcetera but drawing other peoples' OCs can be satisfying, inspiring and overall a good thing on my part!

If that were to happen any time soon, I'll post a request rules & sheets on how to do it! It'll be completely free so I hope it'll be nice!

🇮🇹Remember your roots🇮🇹

Roma caput mundi.

A phrase loved by Centro to express her love and admiration for her grandpa, the Roman Empire, whose city has been inherited by her.

Centro became an Inheritor of Rome 150 years ago, making her the designated leader... But her leadership hasn't been the best, being only physically and mentally 19 years old and not being prepared for such a job and having the responsibility of leading millions of people by being their only representative along with her brothers who had far more experience than her.

But what exactly are the Inheritors of Rome?

"The Inheritors of Rome are the predilect descendants of the Roman Empire, the ones chosen to continue Rome's legacy. They are perceived as the designated leaders. They are either chosen by fate or by a third party. They gain full access to the senate and government right after the crowning ceremony, where the Inheritor has to wear a golden laurel leaf crown, which is what old Roman Kings wore to symbolize their power and sovereignity over the people of Rome.

There have only been a few Inheritors of Rome throughout history, all of whom were assassinated, which led to the choice of a new Inheritor to fill the role instead. As Rome wished when he died, he wanted his kin to continue his legacy and keep his memory great.

Centro casually inherited Rome when taking over Papal States' territories, subsequently becoming the predilect grandchild by Rome, who often comes to visit her and give her tips."

Even though Rome gives Centro tips on how to be a better leader, the two always end up talking about something else entirely, usually drinking wine and chatting in the living room like Rome used to do when he was still an Empire, now destined to live in the afterlife.

🇸🇲A Nice Ceremonial Sword!🇸🇲

I'm so late but hey! I'm here! I'm always late. Finally back to talk about San Marino!

I was indecisive about which uniform is should draw him in, i absolutely wanted and loved the green and red uniform but blue-black and white will always be my favorite out of the two! This time, it's a different uniform in which the orange & yellow is not a dominant color and is replaced with white AND there's a cape, which love. I think it's nice!!

Now, onto some fun facts?

Did you know the one and only leader of San Marino, Saint Marinus, was from today's Croatia (Dalmatia)? He arrived in Italy in 257 d.C and seeked refuge on Mount Titano from the persecution of Christians in Rome under Diocletian, singlehandedly creating a country and becoming a saint too!

Another fun fact that many may not know is what the coat of arms on the current San Marino flag stands for. The white represents Freedom, while the blue represents the San Marino sky. The closed crown in the coat of arms represents sovereignty of the COUNTRY which doesn't recognize any power above itself (himself). Basically, San Marino is his own. While it may not be noticeable, the depiction of the three turrets are surrounded by a laurel branch on the left and an oak tree branch on the right. Libertas means "freedom" in Latin.

His curls represent North & Central Italy since he's in-between them! He also inherited those curls from Rome, since i mentioned a while ago that he's directly related to the Roman Empire! Because of his slow aging he had to see many friends and family members pass away but he still stands strong with a positive outlook on life!

Some Sammarinese traditional clothing is really tempting to draw! Maybe in some time I'll draw him in those clothes!

🇻🇦Our Cardinal, Vatican🇻🇦

There are many scandals and crimes surrounding the Vatican but at some point we need to appreciate its beauty and its culture which should be always respected, as any other.

Here Vatican can be seen with Cardinal clothing, the highest tier for the citizens, right under the Pope. It's incredibly iffy to make Vatican dressed with Pope clothing, it's like comparing the nation to the monarch, so I thought it would be way better if I could give religious clothing a try! And it went well!

Did you know that Vatican has a dress code (specifically for the Saint Peter Basilica)?

To enter it you must always cover your knees and upper arms, which is deemed as respectable clothing in the church. This can also serve as a tip if you're planning on visiting, which I am and am writing this down in my notes as i write this.

The Cardinal clothing during the choirs (as shown in this picture) has red elements to it, which symbolize that the person who wears this is showing his willingness to die for his faith. Red also means courage which Vatican, the character, has a lot of it!

Oh and a note: the highest powers in the Vatican are male-only, which is sad but something that needs to be said, please remember this when writing about the Vatican! I researched this so, I'm here to answer any questions as long as everyone is respectful! 💛

I was extremely happy while drawing this, i felt really positive and it really shows in the colors and the details of this drawing, which was made late into the night but it was worth it. 💛💛💛

a little hogwarts au! they’re both professors but i haven’t decided what they teach. Ludwig probably teaches like, history of magic cause he’s a nerd.

lovino is head of slytherin house and ludwig is head of gryffindor... so u kno they got a friendly rivalry going on. but maybe.... there’s something underneath all of that👀

feli and kiku are also in this au. they’re both ravenclaws, feli teaches charms and kiku teaches potions
