The way Twilight ultimately forgot that he wasn’t supposed to trust anyone, especially the civilians he currently has for his mission.

And how he was hesitant to even put a listening device on her because it doesn’t seem right. Because, let’s all admit it, aside from hiding her job as an assassin, Yor showed nothing but honesty and sincerity towards Loid and Anya (unlike Twilight who fabricates almost everything about him). And I believe Twilight feels how sincere she is on them which is why he didn’t doubt her intentions when she asked him to marry her (even though some of her actions could raise suspicions). And then after he found out that her brother works for SSS, that’s the only time he doubted her, but even then, he hesitated because it feels so wrong to doubt her.

And I feel like this scene can be interpreted as him wanting Yor to admit that she knows Yuri works for SSS just so he can justify that him doubting her was the right thing to do even though there’s a part in him that is feeling guilty for even thinking about Yor fooling him.

This scene can be interpreted as him admitting to himself that he was indeed guilty for what he did. Yor always tries her best to cooperate with the fake family that they built and he can see that. That despite her doubts to herself, Twilight can see that everything she’s showing them are real.

JUST LOOK HOW SHE’S SO GRATEFUL BECAUSE SHE MET HIM (AND ANYA, I’M SURE). I almost cried watching this scene. Trusting someone is probably the last thing on Twilight’s mind but he chose to trust Yor.

About the Ring

Married people often fidget with their rings. It’s not unheard of lol.

But ALSO

The wedding ring is Emilie’s specifically.

That is the only other thing (aside from his own son as it seems) that he has left of his wife.

Every action he’s doing is all for and because of HER.

I think if anything, I’ve noticed every time the topic of Emílie comes up he fidgets with his ring if he’s not in front of her painting. It’s almost as if that’s the only way he copes with reminding himself as to why he’s still doing this. Or something along those lines.

I know it “looks” like he’s controlling Adrien through it, but guys, remember that if it’s really the case, keep in mind he NEVER takes it off.

If he was a sentimonster, this would mean that:

Adrien can be controlled

Gabriel would sense what he’s thinking a lot of the time

He would know what he’s doing

He can HEAR what he’s doing

. . . ALL THE TIME

If this is the case:

He wouldn’t need Lila to “update” him on his son and his own relationships/interactions at school

He would know Adrien’s exact location every single time

He would of sensed Adrien let his friends inside his own home in Party Crasher long before he felt sudden “joy” once the party began

Gabriel would NOT be surprised to find his son is depressed in Glaciator 2.0

He would also already long known he’s Chat Noir since he keeps that ring with him.

He wouldn’t need an akuma to control Adrien into turning in his miraculous (or to akumatize him to carry out the rest of his plan).

With his own son/creation being tied down to such an important ring, why wouldn’t Gabriel just store it in a safe place. If it was “created to live its own life” then it can keep on doing so while the ring is stored away.

For such an important connection, it sure is out in the open (and easily within reach of a specific familiar devious cousin of Adriens)

All that said, I’m not going to say that it IS or ISN’T confirmed for sure that Adrien is a sentimonster and that he’s tied to the ring.

But I will say that if he was, some things don’t check out when it comes to controlling a sentimonster regarding Adrien.

He can be created to be his own unique “sentient” person with limited control and all, but controls are still controls. Maybe there’s more yet to be seen in another episode that can convince me, but as of now, to me it still stands that Adrien was produced like a normal child from two actual people and is very much depressed because his mom is dead and his dad neglects him.

So yeah, that’s just my thoughts/observations about the ring and Adrien not being a sentimonster.
