I feel like my shoots have some kind of crazy element going on in them, my shoots are never comfortable, I am always in some kind of pain because of the nature of whatever story I'm trying to tell or concept I am trying to capture. It is almost always a painful process, whether I am in freezing cold water or I'm holding some kind of crazy pose on rocks, and it's always uncomfortable. So when it comes to photographing other people I always say that I will never make them do something that  I wouldn’t do myself, but that is a little dangerous because I would do almost anything for a photo. I'm kind of convinced that I am going to die taking a self portrait someday and it's going to be documented with a self timer and hopefully that photo will sell for a lot when I’m gone.
