Roberta, chuckling: Oh, you better sit down honey, because I have stories.

Deeks, quickly: Actually, that sounds like an awful idea. Mama, don’t you have a date or game night booked in your very busy social schedule?

Kensi, resting a hand on his shoulder: Ok, just calm down for a second, Baby. I’m sure she can tell a PG version of things. *she glances pointedly at Roberta* Right?

Roberta, shrugging: Boy, kids these days sure are soft. *she leans towards Rosa* This one acts like he never snuck into a R-rates movie before.

Deeks: Mother.

Roberta: Fine. Ok, so the 70s were a wild time, though if you really want to get crazy, we gotta go back to the 60s. I remember this one time, I got stranded on the side of the highway after a big party. I had no idea where I was or where I’d been.

Rosa, concerned now: Oh my god! What did you do?

Roberta, reasonably: Well, I started walking and eventually caught a ride with this guy who stopped.

Kensi, interrupting: Rosa, never, ever hitchhike.

Deeks: Also don’t go to parties you don’t know the location of or get so drunk you don’t remember.

Roberta: You two are a couple of wet blankets. I didn’t even get to the best part. The guy took me back to his apartment—he had these three roommates—and let me tell you it was the best detour I ever made. I never learned their names, but they had some magic hands. And those mouths—

Deeks, loudly: Alright, that is the end of story time. Who wants tacos?

Rosa, sighing: And it was just getting interesting.

Kensi, severely: No hitchhiking!

What prompts do you enjoy writing? For chenford? ❤️

Oo this is a tough one. I love writing fluff and alternate ways foe Chenford to get together but other things spark inspiration too. I think the only prompts I don't really like are super angsty things or things that have been sent to every other fic writer

My ideal Chenford scenario:

they would be back on speaking terms in 2 episodes, communicating and talking about getting back together in 6x10, and back together in 7x01. They could open the new season up with a Chenford 3rd first date

It’s been a week since the break up.

How are you doing?

Has it affected how you read or write?

I'm doing better after the renewal announcement. I really believe Chenford is endgame and they're going to get back together.

So far the only thing it's affected in writing is that I wrote a quick drabble immediately after the episode as a fix it but I've been unable to wrote much lately anyway.

Thank you!! I couldn't remember the exact quote. And I completely agree with you, her empathy doesn't make her clingy or weak. I wonder if people would say that about her still caring about her parents after everything they said about her and her career

See but that makes her character cheap for her to tell him she’s there when he’s ready to talk. He broke her heart. He had no consideration for her whatsoever. He used a cliche it’s not you it’s me line.

Lucy needs some self respect. It’s unbearable to watch Lucy look so clingy and desperate which is exactly how she’ll end up looking if they do that

We'll agree to disagree on this one. I don't think it makes her character cheap for still wanting to help Tim.

Did he break her heart? Yes. But she still loves him and I think that after some time (and an apology from Tim) she would tell him that she's still here for him.

I don't see it as clingy or desperate but as Lucy's compassion for others (which is what Tim has said is Lucy's strong suit with people).

Don't get me wrong, she has every right to be mad at him and I don't think that's resolvable I'm 1 episode, but to say she just won't care anymore about Tim at all I think is a disservice to her character
