When they poured across the border
I was cautioned to surrender
This I could not do
I took my gun and vanished.
I have changed my name so often
I've lost my wife and children
But I have many friends
And some of them are with me
An old woman gave us shelter
Kept us hidden in the garret
Then the soldiers came
She died without a whisper
There were three of us this morning
I'm the only one this evening
But I must go on
The frontiers are my prison
Oh, the wind, the wind is blowing
Through the graves the wind is blowing
Freedom soon will come
Then we'll come from the shadows
(Lyrics from “The Partisan, WW2 Resistance song).

Warispos’s pledge not to lead a querimonious jihad against those who oppose Warispos is merely empty rhetoric, invoked on occasion for theatrical effect but otherwise studiously ignored. Given that trying to induce anger, hostility, confrontation, and conflict is just as tactless as trying to reinforce and police relations of power in the name of maintaining the stakes of the already privileged

And OF COURSE, that. :)

Remember Wounded Knee.
Remember Alcatraz.
Remember Standing Rock.
Let’s not forget many of us are deaf and blind to the treatment of minorities when there is not a huge media focus on them.

COVID-19
So far, COVID-19 has killed 333,000 people in the world in less than six months.
For comparison, the war in Bosnia from 1992 to 1995 killed 101,000 people.
137 people died during the Bataclan terror attack in Paris in 2015.
11,323 people died of Ebola between 2013 and 2016.
36,000 people died on the roads in the United States in 2018.
My point is: fuck your need of a haircut, fuck your barbecue, fuck your “I miss my friends so we go outside and drink beers”.

Hedgehogs
I have an old bomber jacket I wear when going to the store, and when I get home I let it air dry in the garden (COVID measures). It fell down yesterday. I tried picking it up today and it felt way too heavy. Turns out there is an entire family of hedgehogs in the sleeves.
