I drew these quite a few months ago when I was playing around with designs so take 'em!! (Also drew the beginnings of a comic at that time which hopefully I will finish up in due time :D!)

His sideburns make him look older but in our canon he's only like a handful or two of Moons older than Cedar and the gang :D

This au brings out a fun personality on Goosefeather while balancing crazy man who keeps getting prophecies and its so funny, he kinda reminds me of that one person to trick you with “your mom” and “deez nutz” jokes at his fossil age and pinestar is the one to fall for them EVERY. Wait just a question, completely out of the blue but where is tiny/scourge in this au? Does he exist and who would be his parent’s? Miss you guys.

He is! Same parents Maybe an altered design from canon? (Not completely decided yet) but yeah Quince and Jake (Sunheart) remain as his parents!

If we ever get past this curse that is into the wild it should be fun to get to those story beats!

Life update! (It’s good I promise!)

After a lengthy hiatus I (mod Wild) can finally say when the next time Rebound will have some updates and art posted! And that time will be in about two weeks!

As we said us two mods were suffering from severe burnout as well as some personal life issues (but not between us; Mod Dawn is just not within my reach right now) but the end of my university semester is the 17th and I finally have motivation to hit this au jumble again!

Most likely I’ll post some updated refs as well as some comics tightening down the direction we want the story to go!

So yeah a Rebound Return for the holidays (yayyy!)

Are you guys okay?

We’re fine life’s just been running us through a ringer the past couple of months. Me and Dawn both got jobs I’m starting a summer class at school and we’ve both kind of been more interested in other series so our motivation to draw warriors rn is kind of low

I’ve put this blog on a sort of hiatus for now I do plan on drawing more for rebound because I love it a lot but drawing warriors right now is work for me so I’m taking a break for now

If I were to give a time for when we’ll maybe late august but I’m not sure

So yeah not dead just very burnt out

Just finished going through your rebound tag and was wondering if there’s any particular reason Cedarpaw apparently has trouble talking? Like, Darkstripe called him a mute (apparently just as an insult because he struggles to talk?) and he usually just uses the first part of most cats names. If you’ve answered this already I must have missed it.

I have not answered this yet but Cedarpaw in this au was just a very quiet kit. But after that he just tends to keep quiet because he has more trouble understanding clan slang and he also doesn’t want others to know he came from twoleg place lest Bluestar banish him out of the clans (she wouldn’t but still)

And for the first part of the name bits since the first two clan cats he met and talked to for a while were Pinestar and Goosefeather who told him to call them goose and Pine he just assumed that was a casual normal thing to call clanmates and you would leave full names for formal greetings

(He probably was told this was not the case like halfway through his apprenticeship)

Curiosity killed me about Leopardpaw, why did he go through an emo phase? Does it have anything to do with Snow’s death?

Yes and, I suppose? I feel that since Snow died in a really horrific and unconventional way the rest of the clan would tread lightly and treat him in a way he could conceive as “weaker” compared to the other kits his age

So he turns to being what he would consider “tough” and unapproachable to show he wants to be treated on equal footing with his clan mates

Also just a note Aunt Rosetail takes him Both the least and the most seriously through this phase!

So I was just watching the second warrior cats time machine map on YouTube and the redtail design looked very familiar. Did you animate part of that map?

Weird question; but if LeopardPAW could , what edgy music would he listen to seeming he was in his emo phase (i think) lmaoo im sorry this is so weird but I HAD TO ASK

OOOOOOOOOOOOO! I’m not good at recognizing music but I really feel like he would be a classic MCR sort of listener. and from a google search it said Paramore was a emo band so I feel like he would also listen to them too.

Also Tigerpaw would absolutely jam with Leoparpaw in private. And Lionpaw would be the friend who bops along to the tune while not fully understanding the mood its supposed to give off.

Also just a note I feel like adult Leopardstorm would listen to a lot of Cosmo Sheldrake. I just think he’d vibe with that.
