Urgent Help Needed

New post bc our situation changed drastically.

My roomate and I have been homeless for months now, and we are staying in an extended stay hotel right now. I got a call yesterday that a long dead relative never had their will acted upon, and so I am receiving just enough money to set us up in an apartment. We'll be able to get on rent assistance after and things can improve. However, the check isn't gonna get here for at least a week and may take another to cash.

Our hotel bill is due on the 15th of December though unless I can get it to budge a few days and we are several hundred short. We also need groceries, and I just had to pay for medication. The storage bill is late too. Not to mention the fact that we lost our bed, bedframe, towels, and every other damn home-good in the eviction. So we truly need all the help we can get, but we are now definitely not going to be homeless soon.

Since this was written we have also gotten approved for an apartment so the need for help is more urgent than ever.

Okay, so our last post has gotten frankly too long to share in full, it was getting shortened a lot, and our recent updates weren't always getting out there so. We are two queer, homeless, disabled people living in Mississippi. We were evicted legally after months the landlords trying to evict us illegally, stalking us, and using fear tactics. I am visibly trans and my hip is dislocated because of disability shit and I cannot walk to get shit if we need it, there's no uber here, and transportation is available but only from friends who will have to drive 30 mins to even get to us.

My roomate, a queer indigenous man, also has dislocations preventing him from walking to places for us because of disability shit.

We need money for the hotel too, and food, and of course an apartment. We applied for one and expect to be approved, but that means fuck all if we can't afford the down-payment.

Our abusers are helping a little, and facilitating us getting the means to work from home if we can scrape together our side of the apartment funds.

My roomate is doing drawing for people who donate (tho bc of disability shit, it may be a week before the actual drawing gets sent, pls be patient with him, he's going through it.)

Also for the assholes, we make money in several ways, anyone telling us to get a job, will be told to get educated on the disability tax, and the structural limitations that keep disabled and poor people from accessing the aid meant for them. Also? Disability in the US is so below the poverty line that were fighting to raise it to the poverty line Right Fucking Now.

EMERGENCY DONATIONS NEED

My roomate and I are getting evicted in 4 days. We have been deceived and coerced in an effort to have us leave this residence already, to the point that we were lied to about the lease end date, and not given access to copies of the lease papers. Now, after consulting legal assistance, we have the real lease end date. Despite the moratorium, we will be evicted on the 23rd of July.

We are disabled, trans, and living in a very dangerous place to be homeless and either. We have nowhere to go. We have not has gas or water utilities for a year, and we struggle to make enough money to get food. We have contacted every single aid organization we have access to, and have been denied help each time. We are desperate and we have to ask for help to survive. Anything helps at this point, $1 is enough to excite us, we have nothing right now.

The eviction moratorium have been ended by the Supreme Court, and our landlords are stalking the house where we have been squatting.

We had another donations post going but we're making another because the others died.

My roomate and I are queer, mentally ill and disabled. He is indigenous, and I am visibly trans. We have no money, and we're looking for options desperately. We have a rental assistance program we can apply for when we find a place but until then, we are fucked. We can't go to my family because of abuse, and his family told us they'd rather watch us die than help.

Until we can get something more permanent we're still trying to borrow an RV but we need money to rent a space to put the RV.

We also need food, medications, and water.

Please, if you can donate at all, anything is appreciated. If anyone donates more than $50 my roomate will draw one of your pets within 2 weeks. Obviously we can't promise drawings immediately since we're disabled and grasping at straws to try to survive, but he will do them as he can.
