All of ya'll getting pissy about Hobie being shipped with Gwen/Miles/Pavitr are only pissed because the age of consent in the USA is 18, right? But in England is 16, in Argentina it's 13, 15 in Costa Rica, 17 in Mexico, and so on...
It changes all around the world why do you think America is the only one that matters??
+ we are talking about superhumans who fight literal monsters?? I think the last thing on their mind is that this person is a few years older than me.
Has no one been a teenager before? Teens don't usually care about that stuff anyway

📌MINOR ATSV SPOILERS AHEAD 📣
Okay but the fact that Hobie Brown and George Stacey canonically met at the end of atsv is so funny to me
Gwen's dad referred to Hobie as "a piece of work" (that's what I remember at least) so I really wonder how it went??
Was George referring to Hobie's appearance? His attitude? How was his attitude? Was he rude? Flirty? (Gwen's dad is hot and Hobie doesn't believe in heterosexuality sue me)
I just-

I need this written down. I'll pay
You know what this fandom doesn’t have, which is a cheesy staple of most fandoms?
Body swap.
Which is silly because elves are like barely connected to their bodies anyways.
Where is the horrific chaos fic of the house of Finwe all being reembodied in one massive Mandos dump and all ending up in each other’s forms?
Fingolfin in Curufin’s body just congenially trying to figure out if any of them are Feanor, because he just want talk, he crossed the ice to talk and he just wants to talk, he swears, WHERE IS HIS SHITTY BROTHER.
Feanor’s sons “no I’m sparticus!”-ing so no one can tell which pisses Feanor off cause he’s no coward. He’s in Amrod.
Amrod is in Amras and feels kind of cheated.
Finrod is in his real body b/c he was reembodied ages ago but no one believes he’s really Finrod.
Aredhel is in Maedhros and is delighted to be tall.
Fingon is in Caranthir and everyone is alarmed at how friendly he looks.
Turgon is in Celegorm and is probably a little too effusive about how upset he is by this development.
Just you know. Shenanigans.

y’know i’m just suddenly being bowled over again by sephiroth and my own headcanons for him and just oh my god.
there’s so much of his odd behavior that can be understood and explained if you understand he was barely given any socialization throughout his formative years. hojo ensured that he wasn’t feral as a young child, if only just. but sephiroth did not know how to form connections until he was several years in age, not until he met the turks and came to understand that you were loyal to your partner.
but he wasn’t raised like a normal person. he didn’t have birthday parties and praise for accomplishments. he wasn’t held after nightmares or soothed when he wasn’t feeling well. they didn’t treat him like a child. sephiroth may have been eight years old when they took him from nibelheim to midgar but he was never a child.
children are allowed to make mistakes, to expand their horizons, to grow up and to explore their own boundaries and emotions and more.
he never had that chance. sephiroth, from the time he could walk, was treated solely in the fashion of being molded into a weapon of war. he was tutored in different languages and dialects. he was taught battlefield tactics. he was made to learn strategy. he did not understand anything close to what family is until he was in his teens and he met gillian when angeal and genesis took him to banora.
angeal and genesis mitigated a considerable amount of damage that had been done to sephiroth when he was so young; they taught him so much.
but sephiroth was never a child and it’s so easy to understand him if you comprehend that he just did not grow up the way everyone else had. he was never allowed to do that. he had to ever be strong and powerful and perfect. he didn’t have those little things other children do. he didn’t have a favorite spot ( until he began to learn to cook ) or wild imaginings or anything like that.
he was a weapon.
and weapons are made to be used.
