Hi everyone! I don’t ever usually post anything like this but I wanted to share my story. Growing up, I had a babysitter who always wanted to do good for the community. She got a job with the American Cancer Society (ACS) and I became really interested in what she did. I wanted to do good in the community like her. Every year, ACS put on a fundraiser raising awareness for cancer patients called Relay For Life. I decided to make a team and raise money. Doing fundraisers, talking at Rotary Club, and doing presentations at college classes was SO fun. I got to talk about the purpose of Relay for Life and what I’m doing to make a difference. For last year’s Relay for Life, I raised $5,000. Cancer has affected so many of my loved ones that I wanted to try to make a difference. This year studies limited me to fundraising but I’m hoping to get back into it for next year’s Relay. Taylor and my childhood babysitter both have always inspired me to do good for those around me. Hearing the news about Taylor’s mother really broke my heart because I know when you have a loved one in that position, it isn’t easy. I just wanted to remind everyone that you can do good whether it’s as little as thanking someone or just being kind.

It was recently brought to my attention that due to the economic hardship caused by COVID-19 the postal service revenue & volume has declined significantly & that if we don't receive monetary assistance from the government that by Sept 30, 2020 we will be forced to close. Trump stated that if the $2 trillion relief bill included any money for the postal service he would veto it. A bill that is going to help millions make it through this difficult time he would veto because of his personal vendetta against to post office. I am not asking for anything other than your voice. Please reach out to your local representatives, government officials, or anyone who might be able to help with this situation. 600,000+ people are employed by the postal service and everyone in America uses their services, whether it be daily or seldomly, and without that service everyone in the country will be affected. Please help me spread this message that WE NEED HELP from the government which Trump is refusing to give! & if nothing else, please just look at how the last 4 years have been in this country, and when November comes, please cast a vote for someone who can turn this around and isn't just in this for himself. I am a stay at home mom to thix beautiful little girl with many special and medical needs. I had to quit my job years ago to care for her. Due to the corona virus, my husband has been laid off. We have lost our only source of income. We have a mortgage and bills and medical bills and she is on many medications. I have no idea what the next few months hold or what we are you doing to do or how we will survive.

This is terrifying.

When I was home over Christmas I found some of my old @taylorswift concert tickets in my childhood bedroom. The top one is from 2008, the second time I saw her.. I saw her for the first time in 2006 in a TINY club for the “class of ‘06 tour” which was one of the clips in the #missamericana documentary where taylor asks the crowd to call their local radio station and ask for a song called “Tim McGraw, by a girl named Taylor Swift”... that clip shown in the film wasn’t the same location I was at.. but was only probably weeks apart!! I’ve been with you since the very beginning Tay!!! Love you and I’m so proud of you!!!
