Prey who is an athlete and their main competitive rival, a pred, swallows them to protect them in some way. Up to you how well they actually know each other (do they even speak the same language?) and how much warning the pred was able to give. Does the prey trust their competitor, or are they certain this it it for them? Maybe they start begging and trying to cut a deal “I’ll make sure you win next time if you let me go”. Or maybe they know what’s going on and they know this is a nice person going out of their way to help the prey, but this nasty little thought still enters their mind about how easy it would be
And from the pred’s perspective, how much were they able to explain to the prey vs how much would they like to? If the prey’s scared, do they feel horrible or is it just unfortunate and they’re sure they’ll figure it out soon? Or are they such a sweetheart that the thought of using vore to hurt someone never even crossed their mind, and they’re horrified to realize that’s what the prey thinks is going on? How bad are the intrusive thoughts?
Many things

Preds who take immense pride in being preds, but not in a malicious way, rather in a protective way.
Preds who don't care what anyone says about them, they just care that their occupant is safe and comfy inside of them, frequently checking in to see how they're doing.
Maybe it's a pred-for-hire bodyguard situation, where the prey hires them to protect them, or the pred is just a protective friend who helps those they care about when they're in danger (or just need some comfort) by swallowing them down.
Either way, the pred takes pride in keeping them safe, and should anyone want to hurt their prey, they'll have to go through them first.

The idea of a Preds stomach walls tightening possessively. Maybe in response to the unthinkable (to the pred at least) suggestion of letting their prey go. Or in response to someone they perceive as a threat to the prey like another predator, that would have eaten the prey if they hadn’t. It might not even be a conscious action on their part, like the idea of surrendering the prey is just such anathema to them that their body just responds defiantly to the mere thought.

Also random thought but the idea of taking a shower with prey in your belly can be just, so soft.
I KNOW people wanna turn it sexy cause it’s nude but like,,
The warm water trickling down the pred’s full belly. They kinda have to sit to clean some parts of them but that’s okay. Being able to feel and hold their belly completely. This is a moment when the pred is really vulnerable too.
Then putting on pyjamas and snuggling up in clean sheets. Just very good

Can you clarify what you mean in your pin? Do you mean you like vore for non-sexual reasons? Or do you like it sexually but not when there's sex in the drawing?
I guess I wasn’t super clear haha
All I was trying to say was I like vore for non-sexual reasons and I don’t post sexual vore things, but I’m not going to freak out about people who do like it sexually. Some people in the sfw vore community act like liking vore for nsfw reasons is the most horrible sin a person can commit
I just meant it as like the opposite of a dni, since nonsexual vore blog seems to be almost synonymous with “nsfw dni”

Thinking today about same-size vore where, by some kind of magic spell or dimensional shenanigans or abs of steel idk, the prey is not visible at all. The pred can feel the weight and movement of an entire person inside them, but from the outside, they look completely normal. No one would ever know.
(Bonus points if the prey is squeezed and compressed veryveryvery tightly)

@phyre-anon You wanted to hear more?
So I was thinking something like, what if the villain is still considered a villain, but the hero just saved him, and now he inexplicably wants to save the hero back, so, Vore Time. The first thought in the hero’s mind would probably not be “ah, protection”. They might feel a little betrayed because they did just save the villain, after all, but- well, they just didn’t really expect him to be this cruel, villain though he is. They might not even try to beg for release, not seeing the use or not wanting to give the villain the satisfaction. Imagine the shock when they’re finally freed, or the villain grunts “you’re safe”. Are they really safe? Probably not- even if the vore is safe, they’re still the villain’s prisoner, but they have reason, maybe, to hope
But what if it’s shortly after the villain actually joined the good guys: anyone would assume he was only pretending to turn good so he could get them. They might be angry, but maybe more so with themself for getting tricked, and it would still probably be a big surprise when the villain told them it was safe. He might be pretty awkward about it, too, not accustomed to being comforting and reassuring, especially to these people in particular, but he really does want his new friend to know they’re safe
Then there’s the whole spectrum of things that could happen if the vore takes place some time later in the villain’s redemption arc: the hero being initially terrified and betrayed but then hoping- he has seemed so genuine, and helped them in this way and that way, and had many other chances to hurt them, it wouldn’t make sense now. Or the hero trusts him almost completely and tries to reassure themself that he must have good intentions, but the unpleasant thought of his past comes unbidden to mind
So many interesting things
Ok but like. Hear me out
Vore, at various stages of a villain’s redemption arc. Not naming any names, but- you know?
It’s always safe, always protective, but the reactions of the hero characters have so much room for variety depending on when it is, like did the villain just join them and they’re still not sure about his real motives, or are they practically family at this point? So much room for angst.

Like uh. Like. Like *whispering* Zuko
I have watched exactly four episodes, but I have heard this dang redemption arc praised as the golden standard for years, so I already have thoughts about it

Thinking about extra-small vore today. The prey is about the size of an average medicine pill, so they’re very easy to swallow, hardly noticeable on the way down. Once they’re in the pred’s stomach, the pred may still not be able to feel them at all with how light they are, and may be only able to feel the slightest fluttering when they move

Imagine you're a Tiny, right? And you're walking around in the forest or something, until you feel the earth rumble around you and you suddenly get yoinked by a Giant. You get lifted up, and you see that there are multiple Giants around. You're expecting the worst, until the Giant just starts talking about basic Tiny biology and stuff into a camera and says things like how you're a "gorgeous find" and how they "weren't expecting to run into one so soon", and then they just put you on the ground and move on.
You're in a nature documentary.

This has been bouncing around my head for a while. Something slightly more intimate and a bit darker than usual.
A hesitant prey in a relationship with a pred. The pred is nothing but kind and devoted to their love, but still, there is always a hint of hunger, of pure, carnal desire in their eyes. They don't want to hurt the prey, but it isn't their fault; it's in their nature to get hungry.
And so, one night together, after a gentle kiss, it's no surprise when the pred loses control and takes the prey in, swallowing them down gently. They both knew this was a possibility, but still, they're both terrified. Even so, with fear coursing through their veins, the prey keeps still, for the last thing they want to do is harm their love.
Once they're inside the pred, they curl up tightly, shivering. The stomach muscles are churning and squeezing into them needily. Outside, they can feel the pred's hand running over them, rubbing their stomach gently. Somewhere up above, they hear a quiet apology. Slowly, the prey relaxes. Perhaps, if this is how they go out, becoming one with their love is not so bad. But... They don't want to be awake for it, so, they close their eyes and will themselves to sleep. They think they won't wake up again in the morning, but they've accepted this.
Hours later, in the morning, the prey's eyes flutter open. At first, they think they're in the afterlife, but then, they realize; they're laying, curled up in bed beside their love. The pred's stomach is flat, with no indication that they'd had such a large meal just hours earlier. Baffled, the prey reaches up and shakes them awake, asking what happened.
"My dearest, I could never hurt you," Comes their reply. "I let you out after a few hours, but you were in deep sleep and I didn't want to wake you."
In just a moment, pure relief crashes down on the prey. They sigh and rest their head on the pred's chest. Now, they know; they can fully and unconditionally love and trust their pred.

I just found out that a cats purr reduces stress levels and that reminded me about how much I love preds that purr.
Imagine coming home from a long, stressful day. Your pred immediately perks up when they notice your stress. They open their arms invitingly and you sigh. You approach them and they pull you into their warm, soft arms. You snuggle up against them, relaxing from the comfort they provide. “You want in?” The pred asks. You nod and the pred opens their mouth. They gently swallow you down.
You relax in their belly. The warm, soft stomach walls gently massage you, easing out any remaining tension in your body. You feel a soft vibration. The pred is purring. The feeling soothes your mind as you relax even further. You’re safe. Nobody can hurt you anymore. You curl up in their belly, letting the sensations lull you into a deep, restful sleep.

When preds swallow their friend in order to soothe them during a panic attack or something. just holding them and taking care of them while the prey slowly calms down. Gently rubbing their belly, whispering soothing words to the prey, telling them that they’re loved and cared for 🙂
