Sadly, real-life stuff has caught up with me and I've made the decision to go on an indefinite hiatus for now. If everything works out, I should be back in a couple of months or so. If not, whatever happens, happens.

There are a lot of great L&K content creators out there, like @savini-squad @mysuunandstars and many others, go follow them!

Basically, we've been having some crazy weather where I live and my home has been hit by a flood. Thankfully we are safe right now, but after assessing the damages, renovations are going to take a while so I need to focus on that right now.

On top of that, I'm also finishing up my master's thesis, so the limited time I have in front of a computer is reserved for research and paper analysis.

From the moment the jar shatters, Gabe knows something is wrong. “Hey, sorry! I didn’t mean to startle you!” He crouches beside her to pick up the shards of glass. Kinsey’s hands shake beside his. And when he rests a hand on her back, half to brace himself and half to comfort her, she sways unsteadily in her haste to pull away from him.

“No it’s okay, I got it,” she says breathlessly.

“You got it?” he repeats, dubious. She doesn’t meet his eyes as she stands up.

“Yeah. I guess I’m still a little off.”

i will say that the show did ellie dirty by cutting out most of her back story from the comics.

like, when you see ellie had to live with an emotionally and physically abusive mother and that lucas was really the only person who truly fulfilled her need affection and love, her actions have a lot more context. she was completely codependent on him so her inability to move on makes much more sense.
