Another day, another movie list!
Representation matters. As someone is who is apart of this community, there is no better feeling than seeing people like me on screen and portrayed in films. Never be ashamed of who you are and remember, you are not alone. This one is for my fellow LBGTQ+ members and for anyone else who wants some great films to watch! So, without further ado, here are my top 10 LGBTQ+ films of the past decade (and no, I am NOT including CMBYN):
1. Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019)
2. Heartstone (2016)
3. Knife + Heart (2018)
4. Moonlight (2016)
5. A Fantastic Woman (2017)
6. The Handmaiden (2016)
7. We the Animals (2018)
8. Carol (2015)
9. I Killed My Mother (2009)
10. The Way He Looks (2014)

Aliens for April…… why not
Bro please be nice aliens, like, please
WOAHHH that’s so cool!!!
Me expecting a joke video and waiting to see what hilarious item flys by on camera:
Me seeing what actually happens:
Reblogging again for the “April Aliens” part
Sorry dudes, it’s the Kaguya Cadillac science mission
catching that mission on camera by accident is just as cool as aliens.
“I was looking at the moon and I accidentally captured footage of a once in a lifetime lunar mission that’s mapping the surface of the moon a quarter of a million miles away…” Now THAT’S COOL!
oh to be a stage girl in the 30s sitting in my uncomfortable outfit, looking all feathered & positively dazzling in a dressing room packed with other feathered n positively dazzling ladies, sighing because my good stockings have ripped again & having another one of the girls touch the rip on the back of my thigh with tenderness before she tuts & says ‘that’s too bad, sugar. let’s see if i have some that will fit you’. oh to try on the same tights that have been on her legs & to have her say ‘the trick is petroleum jelly’ before she makes me wiggle them down so she can get out a tub of vaseline and make me shine from the waist down & then tell me we’re gonna be stars together one day and we don’t need anyone else but each other and for me to climb over all the snoring girls late at night to lay right next to her & hold her tender hands & say ‘yeah, ok, just me and you’
i know its specific. maybe if you yearned and were a star you’d relate
