In this same vein, if you’ve reblogged or liked one of my works please unlike them and delete the reblog, I do not want any of my content on this site anymore as I am vehemently against it at this point in time. Thanks.
Hey guys, i just wanted to update you all and let you know that I will be clearing this blog out and deleting everything on it. I’ve changed my opinion on producing this type of content, as I view it as writing self-insert child porn. No matter how I try to talk around it, that’s all I can view this as anymore. I’ve seen popular blogs getting comments on it, and the arguments the folks make are very true, and even if it isn’t your opinion, I do believe they are correct – stating that you are simply ‘aging-up’ a character means nothing within the context of justifying the end result of writing work based around children in high school. Using banners and headers of them in the anime attached to your work is further proof that when writing and reading this content, you are viewing them as they are drawn in the show at this point in time – children. If you think otherwise, that’s your opinion, but as an adult in my mid-20′s I don’t think it’s appropriate to say “no, you’re wrong and this isn’t pedophilia” as this kind of mindset will lead down a a dangerous rabbit-hole of justification for others to piggy-back upon. If someone says something like this is bad, you should stop. I do not want to be accused of being a pedophile, as I am not one, so the obvious thing to do is to listen to those making those points and adjusting the behavior based upon the opinions of multiple parties. Simply stating that your works are ‘aged-up’ doesn’t negate the fact that these characters, as we know them now, are still children in high school, playing against other children. The anime scene has always been riddled with MAP’s anyways, and simply rooting out and condemning the men/male identifying folks as disgusting pedophiles when they do this type of thing should continue, but cannot continue to be one-sided, so this is no different in my opinion. This fandom is also filled with children/minors, as the age group to which it’s marketed is 10-18. I don’t think it’s appropriate to continue writing self-inserts that involve sexual acts with children. ‘Aged-up’ or not in the latest manga’s, it’s still an anime about kids, written and directed towards kids. You can justify it by saying you’re only writing about the ‘post time-skip,’ but that does not negate the fact that these are mangas about children in a school club at the end of the day. I am in no way saying you cannot enjoy the show or it’s characters, but writing self-insert porn and linking twitter porn under their tags is inappropriate and dangerous for the minors within the tags. There is PLENTY of adult anime out there, based around adults and involving adult stories to write self-inserts for and continuing to produce explicit content about a children’s show is gross and weird. I will not be arguing this point, as this blog will be deleted soon.
