1 most people want to start a game series with the first game

2 currently the first game is essentially the hardest not due to actual programming but glitches

Also known as Fá or Fatih. A Turkish self-proclaiming asexual from the Netherlands who used to run the study discord “Montuosa Academia”.

This user has been sexually messaging users in order to exchange payment for pictures of shoes and socks, or just pictures of your feet. If you say no, he continues with coercive attempts to force a ‘yes’. He knowingly interacts and requests these pictures from people below the age of 18, and becomes extremely sexually specific on what exactly he would be doing when viewing these pictures. Part of this kink is wanting to be “exposed” (on his terms) and degraded, so not having consent seems to be exactly what he wants. He has also expressed anti-Semitic rhetoric, frequent love-bombing between bouts of toxic behavior, and deleted his server Montuosa Academia because nobody replied to an attention-seeking apology for 30 minutes. We encourage you to block this individual and reblog this post in order to spread awareness.

It Lives Within: First Look Teaser Video!! 😱😱

Q: Will we be able to choose our character's name or do we have to be named Rowan?

A: You will be able to choose your character's first name, last name, and a nickname! Rowan is just the default name that we use, like Devon and Harper.

Q: And we'll get to customize our MC as well?

A: Yes! We have a fully functioning character customization sequence, which I used to make this MC. Eventually, we want to do a full MC reveal, but for the demo we just chose one of our gorgeous MCs and dressed her to show off the outfits and accessories we've added.

Q: We can play as a guy, right?

A: Yep, and you'll be able to choose your pronouns.

Q: What was that part around 2:56 when it seemed to rewind?

A: I wanted to show that the choice buttons are fully functioning, so I went back to show the different outcomes. No, you will not be able to rewind in the actual game. That's a programmer's privilege 😉

Q: Where will this be released again?

A: Itch.io! We'll do all we can to make it playable online, and will probably also provide download options as well.

Q: Will you be using original soundtracks or just the Choices OST?

A: We'll be using both. We have multiple original tracks prepared, but I haven't had time to write new ones to fit the particular moods of this sequence. So we used the Choices OST and it works great!

Q: What impact will the choices have in this book?

A: Your choices will impact nerve scores, relationship scores, whether or not you find lore docs and collectibles, personality, and the final outcomes—particularly regarding who lives and who dies 😶 In fact, in this opening sequence, the right choice will result in nerve gain. I just haven’t programmed the nerve scoring system yet. This is a demo after all 😅

A: This is from the very beginning! We figured starting right off the bat would result in the least amount of spoilers 😌

i’m so tired of the sentiment that we are “in” our bodies. you’re not piloting anything, you’re not a soul inside a vessel, you are your body. “feeling comfortable in your body” as if it’s a space to occupy instead of you?? there’s no “being born in the wrong body,” because you aren’t anything at all without your body. it’s really a religious way of thinking, far removed from science (both material and sociological), which is more “you are what you are due to external and internal factors.”

there’s a post i saw recently that said that cosmetic surgery creates a fragmented sense of the self, and this is really just an extension of that. we are so deep into the patriarchy/makeup culture/capitalism that we see bodies as something to maintain, or improve, or correct. personally, i became a much happier person when i started being able to let go of the anxiety around how i look without altering myself with makeup, shaving, or considering surgery. my body, my face isn’t a shell for my spirit, i’m not a different person when i wear a ball gown vs. sweatpants. neither one of them is better or worse than the other and neither one of them changes me as a person.
