hate being the generation that remembers no ads on YouTube & the annoyance when we first saw 1 ad every 10 videos, then 1 every 5 videos, then on every video, then multiple ads within a single video, only for YouTube to market paying for Premium™️ to ‘get rid of ads!’ which weren’t even there at the start
DC Super Hero Girls has given me many things. But by far my favorite thing is they have the best incarnation of Bruce Wayne. And I say that not as like oh this is 10000% who Batman is.
No. I mean they have the best version of billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. Better than even the movies have gotten for one sole reason;
I want you to take one look at this bougie himbo, one fucking look,
And tell me who in their right mind would believe this man is the goddamned Batman.
He is too pretty. Too well put together. Too big a himbo. Too covered in fucking camera crews and groupies to ever pull it off. No one would ever even fucking consider this gem of a man could do it!
Private blogging, it’s a vibe. But some innermost thoughts deserve to be just that: inner. Very, very inner. Now, imagine the perfect complementary app to this one (hellsite). With absolute encryption (for superior secrecy levels), an allowance of thirty photos per entry (for all the moments), even email and text integration (text yourself whenever you feel like it). Yeah, that’s what this is:
Day One (not a hellsite) has joined our family at Automattic. That means Day One (not a hellsite) has joined your family,Tumblr. And that means the universe is telling you to try journaling.
There’s no such thing as cringe in a private journal; it’s all just ~intimacy~. And checking in with yourself in a solo space that looks nice and feels nice. With zero chance of your secrets, the Story of You, or your WIPs reaching other readers unless, or until, you want them to. (No, really. It’s all utterly encrypted.)
Try it out, and never accidentally post something wildly personal on main again. (You’re free to keep doing it on purpose here, though.)
Please keep in mind that those cited percentages consist of people that voiced their LGBT identity. There are many people that do not. Also, please consider allies, people who are are performative allies, or people who find LGBTQ support “trendy”. Including these groups potentially envelops a larger percent of the population.
Regardless, assuming it is ~10% of the population, there is much money to be made because that’s potentially ~10% more customers than previously. Also, the current population of the U.S. (according to Google) is over 328.2 million people as of 2019, and 10% of that would be roughly 32.82 million, which is a lot of people to exploit with false messages of allyship for revenue.
If you have billions of dollars it shouldn’t be a crime to steal from you. You’ve got enough money that your security should be your own responsibility and anyone who manages to swipe from your hoard deserves applause for besting a supervillain
