the best part about wei wuxian's resurrection scene is that it happens when the audience doesn't know anything about him yet, so when he goes "i'm going to act like a deranged homosexual lunatic so no one recognizes me" you're like yeah sure that could be a feasible disguise until the flashback happens and you realize it's a terrible idea, because wei wuxian acts like a deranged homosexual lunatic all the time

I’m taking another run up at reading Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation and, as before, am deeply charmed by how fuckin stupid Wei Wuxian is, and how everyone else seems to have figured out pretty quickly that he returned because they’re like “I know he’s been dead 13 years but no one else could be this annoying”

there needs to be more teenage Yunmeng Prodigies shenanigans in this fandom. every post that ends up with the ‘boys will be boys’ comment on this website needs to apply to them. I am not certain what the xianxia equivalent of climbing into a giant tire and rolling off downhill without regard for life nor limb would be, but I am certain Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng have tried it
