How beautiful is it when, among the million thoughts of millisecond durations that are constantly trespassing the human mind, someone considers you to be worthy of a thought lasting for a whole second.

Pretty much all of us are waiting to meet someone who seems closer to perfect than anybody we've met till this point in time. And I find myself wondering, what if I've already met them, not as a whole but as tiny pieces scattered in different people.
A little bit of someone who I know is a constant, always around when I'm needed to walk a rough terrain to become that steady hand to keep me from falling flat on my face.
A little bit of someone who I've shared my best hate-love switch kinda friendship with over the years, which grew to the form that they can now solve my problem before I even realise that I have one.
A little bit of someone who keeps annoying me to wear a smile, sometimes randomly, sometimes somehow knowing I could really use one even when I think I'm hiding it really well.
A little bit of someone who owns a cleverly disguised huge heart with little space to sublet, and lent me some just like that without conditions, for some reason I am yet to know or understand.
A little bit of someone who makes me laugh inadvertently at every little thing that falls out of their whimsical stupidities, effortlessly nullifying all my worries whatsoever.
A little bit of someone who carries all their charm in an innocence that this world is increasingly growing devoid of, and makes me pretty lucky to be deserving of.
A little bit of someone who perfectly forms an ideal balance of shared and contrary ideologies with mine, making conversation seem easier than it has ever been before for the introvert I foster within.
A little bit of someone who becomes a walking talking comfort zone right away for everyone, introducing me to the prospect that good friendships can be established within a mere span of 24 hours.
And a little bit, or perhaps a bit more, of that someone who said "I get you" when I didn't get it myself. When that was all I needed to know to make sense of everything again.
Perhaps parts of all the people we've known and valued, forms a perfect whole that we cannot see because we're expecting them to be found in 'one'. And we're still foolishly searching for what we already have.🤍

"Oh, but darling.. how beautiful you are when I can't get you off my mind for days."
In your mind, you're happy with just a second when in my mind.. days are devoted to you, perception is such a strange thing - eUë

Every sense, every thing, every moment of time gets its meaning when it becomes a memory. This second is nothing but a memory in the next one. Which is why I prefer to measure the value of these past years of my life relative to the abundance of timeless perceptions they've gifted me with.
The sound of that irritating song which was repeatedly played by the oddball with the weirdest taste in music, and eventually we all grew to like.
The smell of that car freshener which was ritually used to conceal a few particularly mischievous scents, and always failed miserably.
The flavour of that one dish owing to which we always ended up at the same restaurant after hours of pointless contemplation.
The touch of those cuddles with three, four or five under a single blanket because that one cold-blooded freak just wouldn't let us switch off the stupid fan.
The sight of all those places where we sat and laughed for hours on end, where we went for a late-night movie, dinner or just a long drive, where we made lame excuses to avoid cooking and ended up doing the dishes instead, where we raced to send each other's red, blue, green and yellow men back home. Not knowing that there wouldn't be another time we'd come back again, together.
And the people. The ones who clicked at the first moment and have been inseparable ever since. The ones who were methodically sorted into a group and swiftly evolved into nothing less than family. The ones we met somewhere along the way and effortlessly unfolded into unforeseen, irreplaceable friendships, leaving us wondering why it took so long after all. People who taught me, changed me and shaped me into the person who thinks, speaks and exists the way I do today.
None of these I consider as lost in the past, because they've taken up the most beautiful and valuable form anything ever does in existence. Every millisecond of these years represent a million souvenirs, framed and treasured, imperishable.
Infinitely blessed and grateful is all I am.❤️

To know that someone lets you take up a little space in their little heart, is the most beautiful reason to be alive. Thanks to you, I have one more.

There is a huge correction we need to make in wishful thinking. That there's no way any thing can solely be either good or bad. Everything has a right to be both.

You know what it all comes down to?
The day you finally see that everything you are outweighs everything you aren't.

Isn't it just clearly unfair that a single person be expected to carry the weight of their hundred million insecurities and in the end, be buried under the same?

Right there on that day, I once again had to remind myself why I had decided to not unveil all the layers before anyone ever again.

There's something about shadows cast by green, that all other colours envy.

"There's something about the shadows cast by grey, they aren't truly complete, whatever you say.."
No matter what shade they are, the colors are still a part of the rainbow - eUë
