im told to just get a better job so i can afford to stay in california and thats good advice for now. getting a better job will allow me to pay rent but unfortunately i will never be able to own a place so eventually i'll get priced out. it doesn't matter what i do, one day what i make won't be enough because rent will keep going up and up and up and i will be old and homeless because i didn't get married RIGHT NOW and didn't have a combined income of $200k or whatever the fuck would allow me to buy a tiny condo with another person. i'm sick. i had plans

#i dont care about owning property and would be fine renting forever but the rent will always be too fucking high #it doesnt matter its hopeless
