hi guys sorry i've been inactive lately! real life has been kicking me in the ass lately. my younger sib's in the hospital rn so i'm helping them stand up and walk around after their surgery, and i don't often have a chance for breaks like this. hyperfixations are also a bit wild lately ^^; so i'm really sorry about that. but i promise i have not forgotten this blog! tysm for being so patient with me <3

Ditto basked under the warmth of the sun and the cool stream of water flowing down its leaves and onto its face. When it came to being a plant, Ditto had lots and lots of practice. Of course, since Ryuji wasn't a human from the Pokemon world, he didn't know that in order to evolve, Sunkern actually needed a Sun Stone, not just sunlight and water, but Ditto was a Ditto, so that was no problem! It would just Transform into a Sunflora when it felt satisfied with its treatment as a plant.

Of course, it did also run the risk of overshadowing the actual seeds inside the pot, so it couldn't stay forever-- or even for very long, at that. The pot was a gift from the pink friend, after all. The one who liked flowers so much. If Ditto ruined Pink Friend's gift, even if Ryuji forgave it, it'd feel sad.

Sunkern's body was just a bit too big for the pot, much to Ditto's chagrin. Though it wanted to match the seeds, it would be better to change into something smaller to keep from overshadowing them. Transfoooorm!

There! Much better! Ditto Transformed into Budew! Satisfied with the amount of water and sunlight it had, Ditto opened its bud to reveal the budlings of a blue and red flower inside and slowly drifted into a quiet slumber just like that. Though it was vulnerable, it was very comfortable.

Blinking, he leans down to look at the flower pot clutched in his hands, nervously wondering if he'd already somehow messed this up. He'd been given this flower pot as a nice gift from Haru and he didn't want anything to happen to it!

Cautiously reaching a finger, he pokes the dirt in the centre, feeling a certain texture that's...rather unlike dirt, but feels different - more like a gelatin, like...

"Ditto...?!" He nearly jumps back, arms clutching the pot tightly to his chest as he looks down, giving a relieved sort of chuckle in knowing he hadn't quite messed things up - yet.

"Did you want to try to learn how to garden, too?"

Ditto flopped around in the dirt, completely covering itself in it and giggling silently. At Ryuji's poke, it jiggled a little before poking its face up at the blonde boy.

When Ryuji asked Ditto a question about gardening, it tilted its head in confusion. Garden? Ditto thought this was a new bed. Come to think of it, in the dirt looked to be some sunflower seeds... If Ditto hadn't known any better, it would've thought they were unhatched Sunkern.

Ditto used Transform and became a Sunkern, then planted itself in the dirt and immediately fell asleep. Looks like Ditto's only interested in basking in the dirt and sunlight.

Update

My great-grandpa recently passed away, so my great-grandma was at home alone all the way across the continent. My dad has been taking care of her and her husband until recently, so we were forced to have her move right by our collective homes.

However, she has not taken everything with her. As I post this, Dad is going to grab her things from her old retirement home right now, but he's exhausted and needs company. So he asked me just this morning to fly over to where he's at and accompany him and help him move things.

I will be leaving tomorrow morning. I apologize for the short notice, but this was a very sudden request. From today onward, I will be on a road trip with my dad for an indefinite amount of time. You can still contact me and talk to me, but I will likely be unable to answer, or if I can, I won't be able to use pictures or post too many things.

Ditto climbs until it has wrapped itself around Pegasus' neck and is hanging loosely like raw egg white. It doesn't look life-threatening but certainly is not healthy.

ditto does a sad melt squish. it looks like ditto has been rather tired lately… it even looks paler compared to before, and maybe a little bit stickier… dehydrated, perhaps?

“Aaah! Ditto!”

Ditto does NOT look good, and Pegasus tried to pick up the poor Pokemon, frowning. “Maybe I should take you to a doctor…or a Pokemon Center. Which one’s closer…?”

He hoped it wasn’t anything too serious…

y'all i'm in a massive cookie run phase right now and even though i don't nearly know all of the story (i'm stuck in story mode bc my cookies are too weak) i'm now realizing that Sorbet Shark Cookie and ditto have so much in common, as in they are literally both mute (Sorbet Shark Cookie speaks in bubbles, not necessarily mute but still can't talk unless they're drenched in water) and i think when it comes to muses, i might have a "type." sorta.

(I mean, I've RPed as non-mute characters before--I was once Ash Ketchum for a time--but I lost muse for him after maybe half a year and deleted the blog because I was going through some stuff.)
