i wish i'd screenshotted the tags someone left on my art a while back that was something along the lines of 'oh this guy really does have a hundred drawings of guys with boobs'. really put into perspective what it must be like to stumble across this blog for the first time.

a few people have said they didn't know there were novels, or just haven't read them before. it never got picked up officially but the fan translation by 9th ave is still readily available, online or as epubs/pdfs/mobi. here's the download page. if you can accept the occasional typo or formatting issue, the translation itself is really great.

the novels go a lot more in depth into the plot and characters and world (as they tend to do) compared to the anime. they are, at their core, a sincere message of hope. and i do recommend them even as i am ten years older than the first time i read them. even if you have never read or watched no.6 before.
