met a women today and she was like “i’m mrs smith, soon to be mrs johnstone” and I was like “aww, that’s lovely! are ye gettin’ married?” and without blinking she hit back with “nah i’m divorcing the cunt” a legend tbh
You know how we all joke that writers should stop writing kids in the Chosen One roles because they’re kids and have no experience, etc., and how older people would actually kick ass in that kind of role?
Try telling someone 30-60 years old that they need to put down all of their commitments because they need to save the universe. If it were a book trilogy, the first book would just be the messenger trying to convince the Chosen One that saving the universe is more important than them losing their job for not showing up, their pets home alone, or the risk that their insurance won’t cover whatever injuries they may sustain.
I’m a trans man on 2 years T. Tried on a cosplay of a female character and got gender euphoria from it. Only downside was I felt embarrassed when I had to leave my room while wearing it to get my food. I see the outfit as not me but it was lots of fun to pretend I’m a girl and wear a cute outfit. Does this mean anything about my gender?
Not unless you want it to! To me, it sounds like you're having fun embodying a gender that was pushed onto you. You now get to decide when and how to "look like a girl", and you're embodying a character through cosplay with it! Being trans does not mean forsaking your birth gender and it's expectations; you can take whatever you want from whatever experience you want and make it your own. There are lots of trans people who roleplay and cosplay as different genders, and they enjoy it because its on their terms :) you can wear cute outfits as a man or as the girl you're cosplaying ^-^ just have fun :)
