A while ago the Drops brought up the idea of the Winx with alternate power sources and even made a canon style lineup which had me intrigued. I decided to post these ones after all 😅 I’d planned to make ones for all the main characters but i didn’t get the chance

i haven't watched winx club since i was probably like eight or nine but i'm still furious about the erasure of musa's race in the live action

like don't get me wrong elisha applebaum is gorgeous and i'm sure a great actor as well but musa is very clearly east asian in the animations

taking that away from her was simply harmful to seeing representation on screen, i don't understand why one of the white cast members could have been replaced with a poc instead of musa. they should've hired an east asian to play her

because i can, heres Winx Club holiday hcs

Once Bloom told the girls about earth holidays, they knew what to do. Throw a holiday party in the dorm. maybe even the guys join in

They decorated their dorm with numerous holiday decorations

Stella made holiday themed outfits for the everyone and painted everyone's nails in holiday colors

While all of them are having fun, Tecna, Timmy, and Bloom make sure to tell everyone of other winter holidays, not just Christmas.

It was Brandon's idea to do some sort of a gift exchange. The group already knew about winter earth holidays before the party/gathering. But, they just wanted to get festive.

Flora, Helia, Sky, and Musa brought food/snacks.

After the gift exchange, they all just had a holiday movie marathon, starting with Home Alone(only the good ones) to, as Bloom likes to put it, "truly enlighten my friends to true culture."

they watch this movie marathon either by chilling the couch or in a massive pillow fort that all of them made which was shenanigans all in its own

Musa made sure that she blasts holiday music because a) why not and 2) to annoy the hell out Grizelda and specifically the Trix at Cloudtower. Send Help. Gizelda's tired of this shit

Now, "Merry Christmas you filthy animal" is an inside joke and has used that in battle with the trix/any villan being like "wtf are you talking about omg"

oh and also "bone daddy" from The Nightmare before Christmas

Musa, Tecna, Brandon, Stella, and Bloom has called Darkar and Valtor "bone daddy numerous times, which not only makes the rest of the girls and guys laugh, but also the trix aswell.

so much so that Darcy and Stormy have lowkey called Valtor bone daddy behind his back and its sorta become its own inside joke for the trix

Winx Club Cosmix redesign (6/6) - Musa

This one turned out super colorful. Is it too much? I had a somewhat different color scheme in mind when I designed this, but it didn't fit in very well with the other girls' outfits. I still love this very much. The pose doesn't show the outfit off very well, still I hope you like it!

the writers are obviously pathetic weak-willed hacks which is why they gave up on the musa/aisha friendship and decided flora/aisha and musa/tecna would take less work, but musa and aisha belong together and ‘the fairy of nature and the fairy of technology being bffs’ is a DELICIOUS character challenge

anyway I think they would swiftly bond over the rhythm and cycles of natural phenomena, the strange order of it all, and I think floras quiet sensitivity would be a great match for tecnas autism and unintentional bluntness (especially when aisha is busy and musa is loud and stella is irrational and bloom is all three)

they both come from planets that are poorly understood by the rest of the magic dimension, from cultures that keep more to themselves, so they can eventually bond over being out of sync with everyone else too. they have the most logical, tactical minds of the winx, making them a force to be reckoned with when they strategize together, but floras selfishness and tecnas disregard for risk can make those plans as dangerous as they are effective
