I think there's something that needs to be said about encouraging readers to leave feedback.

For me it's not about "tell me my writing is amazing and stroke my ego"

It's more about "please engage with me so that I can experience your joy secondhand and foster a connection with you"

I understand that not everyone wants this in their reading experience, some people are shy and a million other reasons why maybe someone wouldn't want to engage and that's perfectly fine!

But what I'm trying to steer away from is being a passive content creator with passive consumers. What I want to steer toward is fostering a community that is essential to fandom. I want to see your reactions because it makes me feel like I'm a part of something.

On encouraging reblogs —

I understand that not everyone is comfortable reblogging, especially explicit content. This is ok!

But just consider that the only reason you were able to enjoy a fic or fanart is because someone else shared it, and by not sharing it yourself you are potentially robbing someone else of the opportunity to enjoy it as much as you did.

As OPs our reach only goes so far and this website relies on reblogs in order for anything to truly get seen by a wider audience.

So that's really it! That's why I encourage these two things at the end of every story I post. Not because I'm trying to be demanding and "make people feel bad" if they don't do it.

I know most other social media sites encourage mindless content consumption and that's just the way of the world nowadays, but I am from a time when community was at the heart of fandom and I just don't want to lose that.

Calling me different titles and names just to emphasize that I'm ahead of them.

Feel it not so genuine.

But what they didn't know I struggle a lot. I know what I can do and what I can not.

I envy them for being so carefree. For being the real smart.

Am I too hard to myself?

Maybe I am.

Sharing my Acer Day 2022: The Green Mark Concert experienced! PLUS how to be a introvert fangirl in a concert.

Ever since I decided to attended SB19's concert live, I always bought tickets for two. It is because I always want to have someone I'm familiar with. But being alone is not the problem here. 'Coz I can even go to malls or eat on the fast food chain on my on. But attending event is really different for me. Thinking that I will seat with somebody that I didn't know makes me feel like I'm suffocating. My hands felt cold. My heartbeats starting to race. Then my anxiety kicking in.

July 28, 2022

At exactly 3:28 am, I arrive on SM Megamall after my night shift duty.

This is another day of 'Bahala na si Batman'. Because I don't know what to do and who to approach with. When I see a crowd I just followed them and most of the time I'm on my phone. To look like I'm busy.

After an hour, the queue started and I was able to get a number. This is the time when I initiate a talked to the person on my front to ease my awkwardness because of the situation. Good thing she is fun to talked to. I also got a chance to talked and know the names of the other two girls on my back.

Fast forward, 10 am and we're still on the fifth floor of the mall. I got little bit panicked here since I still have a work at 6pm and the line is moving so slow. Yah, I know I still have hours to prepare for my shift. But thinking that I possibly working without a sleep is already draining me.

But thank God the line moved! Around 1:16 pm I almost near the ticketing booth.

And at last at 1:30 pm I got my two tickets. And I still have time to rest before my shift start.

August 7, 2022

D'day! Guess what? From Upper Box I was able to upgrade my seat to Lower Box. And this how my worries started.

I know many A'tin are approachable. We can talk like we are friends for a long time. This is just one of the impact of SB19 to us. But in Acer con, SB19 is not the only artist who will performed. So thinking that I will be seated alone, without knowing if my seatmate is an A'tin or not, and far away to my friends who is left on Upper box makes me anxious. I even don't remember how many times I look up to their seat just to feel that I'm also with them.

And that's how I felt on the first part of the show.

But every thing change when Parokya ni Edgar started to performed. Aside SB19, PNE is one of the perfomer I'm looking forward to watch.

I'm very thankful for PNE that night. I really feel that I'm one with the crowd. They removed all my tense and nervousness that time.

That is also my first time seeing them in live. I'll never forget that experienced.

Also different artists also performed such as Kaia and Adie.

Of course, the reason why I decided to watch the concert, SB19. At their first appearance I already felt kilig. I immediately notice Pablo's cheeks. I really want to pinch it. The other members; Justin, Josh, Ken and Stell like Pablo are all looking fresh and good plus their white and green outfit really fits them. I mean they always looking good, anyway.

Their cute but maangas personality are really shows every time they are on stage either they perform or just talking. They performed their hit songs What, Tilaluha, Mapa, and SLMT.

I'm also very thankful to those people I'm with that day. My new found A'tin friend plus my casual listener friend.

I never thought that I will captured it like this. I just notice it while I'm editing this entry. Look at Pablo on stage. He is looking at my/our side. It feels like he is waving at me. 🤧

That's how my Acer concert experienced ends. I realized that I really love SB19. That I can go out of my comfort zone just to see them. And I wish someday, I can see them closer and thank them how I'm grateful I am that I'm A'tin. That their personality, talents, and music help me. 💙

This is started with internet love. Two people knew each other because of some circumstances. But this story is more than that.

I like Ms. Shan's storytelling, by the way this is not my first time reading her work. She have so many interesting story too.

This line from Justin's character really got me. He said, "So I was distracted and not healed." It's really true that to able to love someone you must know how to love yourself first. That's what Justin forgot at first. At marami sa atin ang tulad ni Justin, either in terms of love or life. We always looking for distraction and forgot the real problem, forgot ourselves and I'm guilty by it.

I love Ken's character for being considerate, understanding and respectful on Justin's situation and feelings. Mapapa-sana all ka na lang talaga! Pero para sakin ito rin yung taong nakakatakot magmahal because along the way maaari sya naman ang maubos.

I like how the story ends. I realized sometimes to able to move forward you must know how to forgive the person that cause your pain and also know how to forgive yourself. But to do that sometimes you must let go the person you love not because you don't see him/her as the person that can help you but you don’t want to see both of you to be ruin. And it’s better to think that the one you loved is the person that inspired you to become a better version of yourself.

Entering in a relationship while you are still on healing process sometimes it lead on more problems.

Learn from our past but never bound by it. Naalala ko tuloy yung song ng Ben&Ben with Munimuni na Sugat. Since song title din naman ‘tong Nangangamba if I will the one who will write the sequel I will use Sugat as my inspiration or even use it as a title. Anyway, I don’t know if Ms. Author will write a sequel or already wrote it. Hmmm. Will definitely check it.

Kelan pa ba last entry ko dito? Dami na nangyari. Nasa Manila na ulit ako for work. Umattend ng concert ng SB19 last August 01, 2021. Syempre virtually. Isusulat ko sana concert experienced ko like what I did on Global Live nila pero yung nga di ko pa nagagawa. Then I was able to finished my Wattpad story. So happy kasi sobrang tagal na talaga nung story na yun na umiikot sa utak ko.

And last, birthday ni Pinuno bukas. Mag-edit sana ako ng Tiktok pero wala akong maisip na ideas na pede gawin. 😔

Ay! Ken will be releasing Palayo this Sept. 18. Excited na ako.

Billboard Music Awards

Yesterday, April 29, 2021 the list for nominees for Billboard Music Awards announced. This is one of the biggest music awards show.

One of the category that I really waited to announced is the Top Social Artist. I'm sure Atin really agree with me that SB19 deserve the nomination. And I know that we prayed for this.

Today, March 9, 2021 SB19 released their newest song entitled WHAT ❓. The MV is now, as of writing 412k views in just two hours.

Let me talk as an A'TIN.

Sa first part, I didn't expect that Pablo will be the first to start. Sobrang strong lang talaga nung pasok nya. I'm literally shocked nung pagpasok nya. Sobrang lakas ng kabog ng puso ko.

"Di ibigsabihin pag di tinapos, ako'y hihinto na rin."

Next to sing is Ken. As usual, yung lalim ng boses nya sobrang bagay sa kanta. And that "argh" part, just wow. Lakas maka-rockstar.

"Kahit saan man ako mapunta. Lapat sa lupa aking mga paa."

Josh's part really gets me. Dito ako napasabi ng "kapit ka lang kay Pablo." for the first time. Ang galing ng facial expressions nya dun. Mahal na mahal sya ng camera. Sa Alab may ganun din syang part na nakatitig lang sya. Pinagpala ang Josh. Haha.

"Pareparehas lang tayo may pagkakaiba. Di ba?"

Stell high notes andyan parin. Di mawawala! I like also his part that he sing after Justin, the verse before the chorus. Ang ganda ng line na 'to.

"Maniwala darating ang mga biyaya higit pa sa lahat-lahat na nawala."

Sa last part where Justin singing habang may mga kasalubong. Ang lakas ng dating nun. And Justin did it really well. Level up si Jah!

"Wag nyo sabihin sa akin kung ano ang aking dapat gawin. Di naman kayo natutong makinig."

Overall i like it from editing to outfits and concept. Totoong iwinawagayway nila ang bandera ng Pilipinas. They deserve to be heard world wide. 🇵🇭

SB19 NEVER FAILED TO AMAZE ME.

This happened last February 16 but I can't still get over with their performance on TM: The Love Show. Among the songs they performed, this is my favorite. This is their debut song entitled Tilaluha.

ALAMAT

Since P-Pop becomes popular, many new groups are debuted this year and one of those is Alamat.

Alamat is a sing and rap boy group that sings in multiple Philippine languages. Just recently, they uploaded their debut song entitled "kbye".

For me, the song is catchy even the music video. I like that they used jeepney. I also saw some bandaritas that we can associate to our Fiestas. i also like the last part, may maririnig kang parang mix of folk song/dance/music. Haha I don't know how to describe it. Basta I like that part.

They really showcase their language here. They sings in different languages at nakakatuwa na ginagamit nila yun to promote ppop. Maraming kanta sa Philippines na underated since they are sings in another language na meron pa sa Pilipinas.

And now Alamat brings another realization na we can also enjoy music kahit na di natin naiintindihan dahil nasa ibang lingwahe sya ng Pilipinas.

SB19 Justin and the Orange Theory

(Wallpaper 😁 first time doing this.)

Ctto: @JXSB19 for the middle picture of Justin on second wallpaper.

I know most of the Atin cried when the Hanggang sa Huli in Jeju uploaded on SB19's Youtube channel. While watching it, I also remembered so many things and one of those is the scene of Justin and Ken asking each other which comes first as orange, the color or the fruit? And that's how the Orange Theory born.

Sorry, as an Atin na touch rin naman ako sa MV but everytime I see the oranges naalala ko talaga yung kina Justin hahha.

So which do you think comes first? For me, I agree with Justin. Mas nauna ang prutas. Basta ang witty talaga ni Jah, kaya nga nang-bubudol yan madalas. Haha.
