Bet you haters will start liking IDW 2 when Alex Milne does the art in one of the upcoming issues. You’ll get your MTMTE Hot Megatron back and your generic sitcom storytelling and I wouldn’t be surprised if Rung is in the senate just to appease you complainers. They’ll bring back James Roberts and turn this interesting political drama into a comedy JOKE where Megatron is writing poetry and hanging out with Minimus and Rodimus is like flying a spaceship with Orion Pax and joking around.

First of all, this is hilarious because I actually love IDW2 so far and most of my depictions of Soundwave nowadays are IDW2/Siege Soundwave. Second of all, HOT MEGATRON? And lastly, Orion and Rodimus co-captaining a dysfunctional ark would be amusing. Please send me more anti-MTMTE rage asks, anon. I can't tell if this is entirely ironic or not which makes it better actually.

There would be a route where Starscream becomes the leader if you decides to allied with him and help him out instead of following after Megatron, Also it would be fun to to have the option in this route where you can even backstab him as well

You just take over the Decepticons for yourself.

There can be the option to recruit certain bots from opposing factions if your player character have a strong bond with them from the first part, However it’s risky to recruit decepticons and have them become autobots as there’s a great chance the DJD will come after them and you in autobot route while it takes a lot of convincing with effort to have the autobots become decepticons and give up on the autobots in decepticon route

Oh my god. The DJD coming for former Decepticons would make things grueling. What if they can just show up on any map after a defection to come for that unit? It would definitely make things difficult until you finally defeat them in their proper boss form. I would feel bad recruiting any Autobots to the Decepticons. Like, my god could you imagine Prowl in the cons?..Actually... I feel like some of them might actually really respect him, kind of like the constructicons did in IDW.

A fire emblem-like transformers game would be perfect for transformers fans as it got everything ranging from military strategy with the battle system of figuring to shipping with the love/support system of character development and more!

Maybe there's a third campaign unlocked after completing the game's story with both factions where the player character can go neutral and/or play as the double agent/traitor in either faction for whatever means but this campaign is very hard since the player character must be extra careful to not get caught or they'll get executed possibly by the DJD-like force if they messed up?

I would want to see this kind of situation even in actual FE since there isn’t a single game in which you can play as a backstabber/villain. Would be really neat. Also death by DJD as an ending if you make the wrong decisions or let the wrong people die (key characters) would be perfect for a kind of Decepticon path.

Soundwave is OVERRATED. I want to PUKE every time I see how many fics he has on Ao3 omg what a boring Robot he doesn’t have a personality or any type of purpose, he’s just a cassette player how sad. At least Overlord and actually cool Decepticons have cool alt modes .

You know what would be good? A fire emblem-like transformers game where you can pick faction to join and recruit which characters into the faction, The story could be separated into two parts with the first part is pre-war and second part is the actual war where decisions made in the first part will factor into the second part plus being able to date whatever character and then marrying them

I’m actually a longtime fan of the Fire Emblem series (Ike’s game are my favorites along with Genealogy). I was just talking about a TF Fire Embelm-esque strategy game with one of my best friends just the other day. It could work really well because FE’s mechanics already feature “transformation”. And yeah, for anyone who would want romance options, it would be a piece of cake.

Even better if this hypothetical game got a sequel to conclude the war. First game basically follows you joining the pre-war cons or Autobots. Young gladiator Megatron to vicious lord or a young Orion Pax [insert origin here] and following him as he has visions of the matrix (A perfect substitute for the actual fire emblem ) until he finally obtains it, becomes Prime,  and leads the forces against Megatron. Even better if you can have different characters obtain leadership.
