saw a tiktok of a mother taking her very tiny daughter to an art museum and she’s just walking around going “whoooa” “woooaah” to everything but then they got to a marble statue of a nude woman lying on her back and the girl points and goes “mommy🫵” and i just immediately welled up with tears and all the comments are just laughing about it and of course it’s funny but how are you not insanely moved by the way art connects everyone on earth from a centuries-old sculptor to a toddler in 2023

Just had Wendy’s in the first time in forever and it was absolutely disgusting. I remember when I was in hs they had the best fries and the frosty was delish but now it doesn’t even taste like food anymore? But ig that’s what all big companies do now, change the recipe little by little, cut corners to pocket money, and this goes on for so long the food is hardly edible.

And did yall hear there’s a fuck ton of lead in lunchables? We need to bring back victory gardens.

So now that my anti depressant meds have kicked in I’m not fighting myself to brush my teeth anymore, which is awesome, but since I’ve been brushing far more frequently I realized I’ve avoided it so much because it literally hurts for ~45min afterwards. So I asked my husband how he can stand the sharp/tingly/burning feeling in his mouth and lips feel after he brushes, and he’s like “huh? What are you talking about?”

And as it turns out, dear reader, the irritating sensation was a symptom of an allergic reaction. I am, in fact, allergic to most toothpastes.

It took me three decades to discover. Unbelievable.

But anyway, I switched toothpaste and now my mouth isn’t on fire and my skin isn’t visibly irritated. Yay.
