Daily Witch Rituals for Busy Witches
As soon as you wake up, open your curtains and let sunlight into your room! It’ll help wake you up.
Stretch and greet the sun. Ask her to watch over you again today.
Draw a daily tarot card.
Enjoy a cup of tea. Stir clockwise to attract, counter clockwise to banish.
Pick an outfit with color correspondences to match the day. Even if you feel tired, dress in bright colors and smile in the mirror. Manifest the happiness you deserve.
Pocket a small crystal. Amethyst for protection, rose quartz for love, labradorite for courage, moonstone for clarity, etc.
Water and talk to your plants. They protect your home by absorbing negative energy and curses. Thank them!
Cook with intention. Use herbs, colors, and flavors that correspond with what you’re trying to manifest.
Meditate, even if it’s just for five minutes. Set aside time for yourself to empty your mind and relax. During this time, forget about upcoming deadlines, this week’s grocery list, or any other reminder you keep in the back of your mind.
Before you go to bed, review what you’re thankful for. Talk to your deities or just remind yourself of all the good things you got going for you!
Greet the moon and ask her to watch out for you while you rest.

A Detailed Guide to Cleansing Your Tarot Deck
How often should I cleanse my deck and why?
Between every in-depth reading you do: they require a lot of energy and focus and can heavily impact the energy around your deck
When you get a new deck: you don’t know who has handled the deck before you or what energies surrounded it
If someone touches your deck: their energy can be easily transmitted through physical contact (which you could potentially use to your advantage if you’re reading for them)
When you see multiple cards from a recent previous reading appear in your current reading: a sign that the energies of the people you are reading for are becoming muddled
At different times of the year - equinoxes, full moons, first day of a season: routine cleansing is a great way to keep your cards in good shape
If you haven’t used it in a while: old, built up energies need to be cleared to help “wake up” your deck after it’s been sitting unused
How can I clean my deck?
With a cleansing sigil: place the deck on top to the sigil and write “Negative energy” or “Old energy” for removal
Passing through some sage smoke: sage is a great all around cleanser!
Shuffling while focusing on cleansing: shuffling reorganizes the cards and is a quick method for cleansing in between consecutive readings
Place a clear quartz on top: quartz, especially when charged with light from a full moon, absorbs negative and foreign energy really well
With the light of a full moon: the full moon represents new beginnings and holds strong cleansing power, place on a window sill overnight
Meditation with a focus on cleansing: sit near or hold your deck, close your eyes, focus on your breathing (count your inhale as 1, exhale 2, inhale 3, etc until 30), then imagine a white, cleansing light enveloping your deck
Make a salt circle around your deck: can get kind of messy, but the salt will absorb negative energy, make sure to dispose of it after!
Put the cards in order (by suit, element, number, or astrology): sorting your deck will give it a fresh start, make sure all the cards are upright as well!
Knock three times: another quick way to cleanse or “wake up” your deck, especially great for after you haven’t used your deck in a while

Two of Pentacles in Reverse
Keywords: unorganized, over-committed,
stressed, scattered priorities.
“You’re biting off more than you can chew. Don’t give yourself more than you can possibly do.”
🔹This card warns that you may be “over encumbered” with responsibilities and commitments and can’t keep going on this way.
🔹You may feel like you have way too much on your plate right now.
🔹You could be telling yourself “It’s okay, I can do this. what’s one more thing?”
🔹Your poor time management could be causing those around you to feel you’re distancing yourself from them and they may be frustrated and losing their patience with you over it.
🔹You probably feel like the stress is finally catching up to you and you catch yourself dropping the ball more and more lately.
🔸Take the time to create to-do lists.
🔸Sit down and evaluate your commitments and organize them with the highest priority items on top of the list.
🔸Learn. To. Say. No. When things don’t align with your goals, tell yourself it’s okay to not be able to do it all.
🔸This card is reminding you to take a step back and reassess your priorities and goals. A “Spring Cleaning” of sorts.

You're not going to find your spirituality on the internet
Maybe this’ll be unpopular but it’s been bugging me a lot lately.
Online there’s a lot of “my gods are so silly I gave them fun nicknames and we hang out like buddies lolz”
Online there’s a lot of “[insert religion] sucks! It’s boring and stupid and being pagan is sooooo much cooler! I’m more fulfilled than they’ll ever be!”
Online there’s a lot of trendy fads and expensive magick tools/altars/etc and people who will tell you who you should be even when it goes against your better judgement.
But a lot of baby witches and pagans will cling to the Internet as their only place to learn about their chosen spirituality.
Your spirituality is so much deeper and more meaningful than that. You, reading this now, YOU are capable of so much. If you feel jaded about life like I do right now, please log off for a moment.
Go meditate without any preconceptions or expectations. Just breathe, count your breaths. Feel the energy around you. If you can, light a candle and gaze into the flame. If you have any, hold a crystal and tune into it.
Go out in nature somewhere, anywhere, and feel the wind on your face. Breathe in the primordial earth. Listen to the sounds around you.
Your gods aren’t silly playthings for you to take out of a box and amuse yourself with when you’re bored. They’re powerful beings who deserve respect and shouldn’t be called on frivolously. Talk to them, give them offerings, but don’t degrade them to “spooky toy” status.
You don’t have to spend a dime on an altar. You don’t have to “look” a certain way. You don’t need all the bells and whistles or an impressive magical lineage.
Don’t shit all over other religions, even if you don’t agree with them. Respect them as their own identities. Your spirituality isn’t a trendy accessory to make you look edgy and unique. It’s a deeply felt reality for you, something that drives you from the core of your being. Laughing at someone else’s spiritual path is like pointing at someone’s purse and ridiculing it because it’s not as cool as yours. Spirituality isn’t an accessory, so don’t treat it like one or you risk looking like you aren’t confident in your own.
And finally, don’t try to search for your spiritual path online. Study and learn there, sure. Ask questions. Be curious. But don’t confuse Internet tags and Instagram photos for your own personal spiritual identity. The only way to develop your spiritual identity is by actively practicing, and I mean YOUR way. Don’t want to worship gods? Don’t. Uncomfortable with practicing magick? Don’t.
Please log off every now and then to decompress and turn inward, away from the allure of Internet spirituality. Energy, spirit, deities–these are all purely experiential things that require your full attention and considerable mindfulness. Please don’t shape your spiritual identity around boredom or edginess or nonconformity for its own sake. If you found your spirituality because it’s not mainstream or you thought you could learn some magick to make you interesting, then it’s based mainly on negative traits like guilt, anger, or escapism.
Let your spirituality be a driving force at the core of your being, something powerful and good and absolutely enchanting because it speaks to your soul. Take your spirituality out of its conceptual phase in your mind and put it into real, tangible practice.
And sorry I ranted for five million hours I just have a lot of feelings……

📖Spiritual Stationery📖
[ I N T R O ]
I’m talking about Grimoires, Books of Mirrors, Books of Shadows, or any other book you might use to record various parts of your spiritual path. This can go from witchcraft related information or correspondences to simply record your dreams and delving into the meaning. I’m going to talk about some of the different types of spiritual journals, talk a little about how I use my personal spiritual journals, and then give ideas, tips, and tricks on things you can incorporate into your spiritual stationery.
I am writing this to help those who have a tough time with their spiritual stationery as I did when I was first starting out. Maybe you feel like you don’t know where to start? What should you call your book(s)? What should you use? What could you put into your book(s)? I understand that there may be others who want to record their path, but feel like something is preventing them from doing so. This is to help those people, but this might be helpful for anyone who is trying to establish regular documentation of your spiritual path. :)
Generally, when we talk about a Grimoire, a Book of Shadows, and a Book of Mirrors we are referring to three different types of journals. A Grimoire would normally only holds your finalized spells and recipes. A Book of Shadows if generally for information about correspondences of the things/tools you work with or anything that pertains to what you use in your craft. Finally, your Book of Mirrors is kind of like your personal journal. Inner thoughts about your spirituality, things you want to contemplate, your beliefs about magick/the universe. You would also normally work out things in your Book of Mirrors before you put them into your Grimoire once they’re finalized.
That was just a little bit of information about the general ‘definitions’ on these three different kinds of spiritual journals. However, I would like to say that you don’t have to have three separate books in order to document your path. You can even combine them all into one, or only have two books, or even have so many books that you feel like you have a library. Don’t feel afraid to create your own versions of spiritual stationery, or giving them your own names. Your path is your own and you can do with it as you please, and this also means you can do whatever you want to do with how you decide to record your path. It’s different for everyone.
How I use my Spiritual Stationery
I have three books that I use, but I don’t have a Book of Shadows. I have a Grimorie (Which you could say is a mixture between a grimoire and a BOS), a Book of Mirrors, and my Book of Spirit. Personally, I not only put spells and recipes in my Grimoire, but I also put poetry and dedication pages to my deities and spirit companions. My Book of Mirrors not only holds my thoughts on magick, but it also holds poetry dedicated to my deities, my dreams, and all of the tarot readings I have done for myself. As for my Book of Spirit, that is actually a spiritual art journal that I am using to connect with my path/craft/spirituality through the lens of art.
What to use as Spiritual Stationery?
You can use anything. You can decide to use a physical journal that you have to write in (like I do) or you can make one that is digital. There are a lot of different apps that you can find that will let you have different notebooks in one app so you can organize things the way you want. Evernote is something I use (not for spiritual stuff) and it has the ability to create notebooks and different kinds of entries. But you can totally also use physical binders of folders if that is what you wanna do! Remember, this is for you. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable.
A Tip or Three
If you are one who feels like you can’t start or continue with an actual journal you have to write in (maybe you feel like you won’t make it ‘pretty’ enough, or that you might ruin the journal), maybe think about starting a digital one.
Though you might be like me, and you might really, really want to have a physical book. A big problem with this is having a really nice book and messing it up, or making a page you don’t like. Here is some advice for that: You can always cover a page with another page. Just glue it on top. Or even tear the page out. This is your book and you can do whatever you want with it. Also, remember that’s it doesn’t have to start off as pretty as you would like it. You can add things as you go along to previous pages. The book never has to be finished until you say so.
Seriously, the whole idea of covering pages with pasted pages has saved my life when it comes to having a physical spiritual journal. I would start a book, hate what I put in there, and then I would rip the pages out and use the book for something else. Now I just cover up a page. Because of this, my Grimoire is nearly done, and my Book of Mirrors is halfway done. These are now my most important tools.
I’d also like to mention having a rough draft, and multiple if you feel like you need more. Think about it. Your path can change at any time. There are some things that might work for you now but won’t later. This is okay! Don’t worry about this! But you might not want to put alot of energy into a really big expensive book that you won’t really use.
Information to put into your Spiritual Stationery
I would categorize these things into what I would put in what book, but I am just going to let you decide :) I will split them up based on ‘basics’ and ‘personal’ stuff, though, just for some organization for this post.
Please take note that you don’t have to include everything or even anything at all that I’ve listed here! These are just ideas to help those who don’t know what do to! Also, some may feel that a few of these things listed under 'basics’ are actually personal things, and that’s okay! Do what you want with these! Put them in any book you want!
Basics
Crystals
Botanicals
Colors
Misc
Personal
Thoughts on Energy
Prayers/chants
Your thoughts on magickal and energy
Your dreams
Your readings
Meditation methods
Your deities
Your element
Your astrology chart
Personal correspondences
Ideas for your altar
A page for your Astral home
Shrine pages
Secret pages
A page for things to use to summon you once you’ve passed on
Ancestor pages
And with that, I am finished. I hope this post has helped anyone in any way. I remember never being able to keep a Grimoire, like ever, and these things have helped me with motivation and inspiration. :)
Peace to you and yours! 🌹❤️

GRIMOIRE INFO & IDEAS
Grimoire / Book of Shadows
A Grimoire mostly known as Book of Shadows is basically a Witches Diary!
It holds Spells, Divination, Corespondents, your Personal notes etc.
Your Grimoire is YOURS! you make the rules, there is no certain way a Grimoire has to be written and set up!
Always make sure your Grimoire is protected and doesn’t fall into the hands of others! A protective Sigils is always good to use!
Some keep several Grimoires specific for one topic each, i.e One for Spells, one for Tarot, one for Dreams one for Recipes etc. once again your Grimoire your rules!
What to use for your Grimoire:
You can use everything from binders to composition books, you can make your own binding, even papers in a folder. However you want to keep your Grimoire is up to you. Some even keep an online and digital Grimoire on their phones and/or computers.
If you don’t want to use too many pages for one topic you can add Envelopes, Envelopes are awesome to keep Star maps, portable Divination spreads and boards and dried flowers, herbs, pictures etc.
You can keep your Grimoire simple or decorate it with symbols, drawings, washi tape, pressed flowers etc. if you mess up a page you can paint over it or glue something over it or however you’d like to fix it.
Keep and Index so you know where everything is, color coding is an awesome option too.
