Ok no but I know think kind of thing usually goes with Bob or Bradley, but Jake with a neighborhood babysitter/tutor/nanny type over the summer (I know it’s usually an age gap type thing but I feel like they’re the same age)

She’s making her own little “school” (like Julie Andrew’s in the sound of music) and she’s teaching them in a park or something and he always goes there to train or whatever..they meet it’s cute blah blah fluffy

He’s not paternal (hello childhood daddy issues) but she basically adopts those kids (maybe their parents really were treating them like accessories to post on social media and don’t really care) Jake is smitten with her and the kids. She wants to teach them about planes and the navy and all that..Jake gets them passes, the squad is A:since when does bagman like kids? B: why does he have 12 following him around like ducklings???

Anyway..Jake x nanny thought ❤️

Personally, I love the idea of Jake being reluctant of kids because he had a horrible father and then discovering he is not the same man.

Maybe one of the kids sees Jake working out and asks if he's a superhero (bc he's so strong) and she runs over apologizing and Jake is immediately smittened.

He goes to the park hoping to see her again. And yes, he absolutely chooses to work out near her and her kiddos. One day she's like "You can come say hi. They've been wanting to meet Captain America again."

At first he's a little reluctant but finds he enjoys talking to the kids and it's not as bad as he thought it would be! After a couple of sessions, the kids are using him as a human jungle gym and he loves it. And he and the nanny are finally going out!!! It only took the kids blurting out "He thinks you're really pretty! She likes you a lot!" for them to finally make plans for dinner.

also I bet my ass, jake seresin would be an absolute manchild when he's jealous- he tries to be suave about it but fails miserably- he's also someone who is possessive, it shows in little things-

- manspreading a little much, arm around her chair, thighs touching, his chest is almost behind her

- giving her his jacket to tie around her waist when she's wearing a dress too short but is playing pool (it's also to save her from accidentally flashing)

- can also see him being a little stern about things that just aren't up for debate, she's his queen and he is a simp but yes there are things he won't compromise on- "I'm not gonna watch you burn out, your job is important, very much- much more than mine, you bring lives into this world, every fucking day- but I won't let you work yourself to the bone. I'm putting my foot down, you're gonna eat and get some sleep, and tomorrow- we're staying in and rewatching parks and rec" (love that show)

but yeah- small wholesome things that to him, are just for him to take care of. the squad gets a pass, here and there, given the trust and confidence he has in them but others not at all.

he's also smug about anyone who checks her out

Protective Jake is my favorite! Covering their drink when they're in the bathroom, I love the idea of him tying his jacket around the waist! He doesn't even ask, he's just like 'here ya go' and ties it for you 😫😫😫

His protectiveness extends to your habits too! He will ask if his girl has had water today. When he's waiting for them to arrive at the Hard Deck, he orders them food because he knows they're hungry. When they're tired, he wraps them in a blanket and cuddles them
