hello! I was reading your latest work i saw that sunoo part is actually somewhat similar to this post by @/atrirose, I know i can be wrong so I just want to clear this off since it felt super weird.

hi anon! thank you for messaging me about this! i read the link you attached and i’m realizing that it’s not just sunoo’s but ni-ki’s as well :( but it really wasn’t done on purpose.

i try not to follow tumblr authors apart from the ones i knew of before writing and the ones who follow me to avoid accidentally copying someone’s idea. i’ve been on an unofficial hiatus since september of last year so i haven’t really posted anything, read anything, or even checked my notifs until my latest post so i really had no idea someone else already wrote something similar to mine :( i honestly got the idea to write what i did by watching videos of sunoo saying ily to jungwon in their en-o’clock episode, ni-ki interacting with their staff members, jungwon admitting he’s the ‘jealous type’ on their radio show (correct me if it was a different show), sunghoon being v supportive of sunoo, and etc.

i’ll message the author you mentioned privately but for now, i hope this clears it up with you and other people who may have noticed the same. i had someone copy my work last year and it was really disappointing so i appreciate you bringing it up! :) thank you.

most would expect heeseung’s heart fluttering actions to be bold serenades or spontaneous dancing in the kitchen, which did make your heart flutter, but he did that enough with the rest of the world that it wasn’t particularly the most heart fluttering thing to you. rather, it was the soft ‘hm’s that he often reassured you with. not quite a hum but something close to it. you heard them in the middle of the night when you couldn’t sleep and you’d tentatively whisper “heeseung?”. it wouldn’t take long for heeseung to let out a quiet “hm?” to let you know that he was listening, that he was there, although you knew damn well that he was as conscious as a mummy. you heard them on rainy days when you cuddled, or on road trips when you groggily wake up from a nap on his shoulder, or in the middle of your shared kisses when he could tell you had something to say. it was his quiet way of saying “i love you” and a million other things like “what’s wrong?” or “what do you need?” or “what can i do for you, baby?” and that in its own way was a serenade to you.

everything about sunghoon is positively heart fluttering but nothing quite beats his supportive little commentaries. whether you’re cooking in the kitchen, or wobbling on the ice rink, or studying for an exam, you always know that if you looked up, you’d see sunghoon’s supportive smile before he cheered you on. really, it didn’t matter if you handed him a plate of burnt eggs. he’d still kiss your cheek, thank you for making him food, eat it without complaint, and even when you pout because you know it tastes like ass, he’d chuckle and tell you “even if it’s burnt, i love it because you made it for me.” in a group of people, he’s always the one yelling a “y/n! you’re doing so well! keep going!” and it makes you feel like you can conquer anything in the world, as long as sunghoon is by your side. it’s a small thing, a small habit, one he might not even notice he does because he just naturally loves you like that, but it makes your heart smile all the same.

jungwon is a levelheaded guy, everyone knows this, but when it comes to you, he’s not so. jealousy and possessiveness comes easy to jungwon when you’re in the picture, and it might be wrong to feel this way, but you can’t help but feel your heart flutter whenever you see the familiar furrow between his brows that you now recognize as possessiveness slowly taking its hold on him. he doesn’t like letting it control him, though. you’ll often find him pulling his lower lip between his teeth as he unconvincingly denies it, or roll his tongue against his cheek as he looks away, or smile sarcastically at the scene before him. however, try as he might, it always ends up with him burrowing his head in your chest, arms around your waist, a defeated smile on his lips as he whines at getting caught. but he should know by then that feeling jealous is useless, because your heart flutters for him and him only.

there are many things that ni-ki does that makes you heart flutter but one that he probably doesn’t know about, because the little shit always takes pride in seeing you flustered and makes it a habit to do it often, is how he somehow always manages to give you 100% of his attention. during the conversations you have standing up, you have to make an effort not to waver when he bends his head to be at eye level with you. and it takes an even bigger effort not to stutter when you’re in conversation with someone else and you feel the weight of his gaze even when your focus isn’t on him, as if he finds every word you say valuable regardless of who it’s for. he never fails to include you in his little bubble of consciousness. although sometimes he’s busy working or playing games, he never makes you feel that your presence isn’t felt by him, because it is, it always is.
