( psst. hey. mod note. these characters have nothing to do with the canon plot, and instead of going to the canon universe ill probably do a mix of the happy au + the canon one. i am not currently finished with the bad end au, so sit back and enjoy some doodles now and then )

A few white vines and roots appear through the window. Evgen is staring down some scrolls and tablets, barely paying attention to Ziva floating down beside her.

Ziva covers up the window she came through with roots, and taps Evgen’s shoulder.

“Hey? Hallownest to Evgen?”

“Huh-Hm? Oh hi Ziva.”

“What are you doing? And why’s your mom outside? Oh gods, did she-“

“Get eclipsed? Yeah, trying to figure out how. Why are you here?”

“Wanted to check on you, theres been a bit of an increase of eclipsed bugs... In honestly suprised you’re still... alive?”

Ziva seemed out of breath, and Evgen finally looked up.

“Uh, hey, what happened? You’re really out of breath.”

“Well uh— my garden was overrun by the eclipsed... a-and so was Deepnest, even 2 of th e mantis lords are eclipsed... I-I...”

“Woah woah wait! How are you not eclipsed?”

“I suppose since me and Dawn are related, along with Plasma.”

“I’m so sorry about your garden. But, thank you for visiting me. I’m still trying to figure out how this eclipse thing works—“

“Could I- Stay for awhile?”

“Of course! There’s a few extra beds in the back, make yourself comfortable.”
