Birds always fly away when you take photos of them because they can sense the camera taking a bit of their soul. Unlike other animals which have no concept of a soul.
Non artists will get confused sometimes why artists buy commissions from other artists. Can't the artist simply replicate the other artists' style? The truth is that every artist has a unique drawing style, set of skills, and perspective on life that cannot be authentically replicated. Also, I would rather be buried alive than ever go through the drawing process that creates some of the artwork I like!
It's cool when an artist you admire finally posts a speed paint so you can finally learn their secrets. But watching you think "wow! I would rather never draw again than ever draw like that!"

You changed your pfp, and I legitimately thought you were a stranger (not that you aren’t, really) I followed on accident before going through, like, four pages of your blog.
Honestly I didn't even recognize myself for a while lol. Kept thinking "who is making these cool posts?... ah, it's me." Funny how much nicer we think about ourselves when we think we are a stranger!
The indie rock fan's biggest dream is for someone to respond "That's my favorite band too!" But that will never happen because I am afflicted by a curse cast upon me by parents playing songs from my uncle's unsuccessful rock band during my formative years.
We laugh and joke about indie rock fans but nobody knows how hard it is. You think I want this? You think I want to be completely unrelatable when talking about music? Do you think I made a lot of friends in middle school by listening exclusively to the Go! Team and Anamanaguchi? When people ask me what my favorite band I say "Hammer no more the fingers! They have a great song called 'Steam' about the David Lynch movie 'Eraserhead' ^_^" How are you supposed to respond to that? What does that even sound like to a normal human being? I can't even blame them when they walk away from me.

Thanks to the people who commented on my last sticker post, I am definitely setting too high of a standard for homemade stickers. Honestly, it's a bit silly to expect everyone buying an obviously handcut sticker to then hold it at a 70-degree angle under a lamp and think, "Hmm, there's a small dimple in the laminate... shobby quality, I must write a bad review."
Anyways I printed a new batch a stickers and only 1 out of 12 is B grade based on my new standard!
Working on stickers and having a neverending battle with dust in the laminate. But.. maybe I am being too strict on what is A-grade? Would people be mad if there is a tiny dust dimple that you can't see head on in their $3.50 homemade sticker?
Does this mean anything to you? Can you even see the problem?
