Reminder to myself that it’s pointless to compare myself bc no one else has my exact story. The general outline can be the same, and still there will be details that are entirely different. There are different obstacles to overcome. There is different progress to be made. Just bc it took me longer to reach a point someone else already achieved doesn’t automatically mean I am incompetent or that they are inherently better than me. It just means we were dealt different cards in life and that is okay. I will not be allowing myself to slack where I shouldn’t, but I’m also not gonna beat myself up for going through different story beats than somebody else. We all go at our own pace. No two people are exactly the same. And in that irrevocable truth comparison becomes a moot point.

Working harder on the things that are not working, is not going to make them work.
Simply putting in more effort into a flawed plan or method won't necessarily lead you to success. It's essential to reassess, adapt, and pivot when necessary.
People believe that by simply putting in more hours or effort, they can overcome any obstacle. While working hard is commendable, and in certain cases, it's important that make sure that the effort is directed in the right direction.
When we are faced with challenges, its important to be flexible and willing to change tactics. This might mean re evaluating your goals, or your strategy towards it. You need to be able to adapt to situations and have honest conversations with yourself about what is not working. Without allowing yourself to be open to feedback, either from yourself or others, you are going down a path of wasted effort.
The Sunk Cost Fallacy is an idea that because you have invested time, effort or money into something, that you should continue doing it, even when you are not getting results. It's important to recognize when to cut losses and pivot to a more effective strategy.
Sometimes, the solution isn't about working harder but thinking differently. It is about working smarter, not just harder.

I’m not crying, yes I am. Good thing: I’ve already covered these topics in previous tests. Bad thing: they’re now coming altogether and I’m so not ready for it yet. I’ve spent the last two days in a spiraling cycle of trying to plan it all out and then breaking down because I can’t keep up. It’s this time when I’m actually clueless how to proceed and what not to do.
P.s.- It’s been raining nonstop for 4 days here now and that’s just 🤌🤌✨✨💘😌🧚‍♀️🌹🦚 So here’s a singular white lily amongst these gorgeous pink lilies from our garden.

Tips for NEET and JEE Aspirants
Hello everyone~ Now that the exams are finally scheduled, it's necessary to plan your time properly in order to ace it. Below are some points I have learnt in these past years which is also helping me a lot!📝👍
1. Revise, but smartly. 📚
I know. Many of the students feel confused in the last moment as to what to do and what to read exactly now that the time is less. So, one great option is to switch to online lectures provided by different institutions. They are quick and will be easy to understand. A heads up, do not always just watch lectures. It is also important to self study. So, when you are free, take your notes and just give it a read.
Tumblr media
2. Do not OVERTHINK. 😵
As exams approach near, anxiety and stress takes place in our mind. Negative thoughts tend to occupy our mind, making us more distracted from our work. This problem has got only one solution. Try to focus yourself on your work. Think how many more works do you have to cut off from your today's to do list. Don't panic. You will be okay and these thoughts will never come to your mind.
Tumblr media
3. Take breaks, do something you love.🥰
Have you ever seen a machine working non stop? What's the result? It becomes damaged after some time, right? The same goes with your body. While it's important to devote yourself to studies, it's also important to free your mind for sometime, so that when you start your next study session, you will feel refreshed rather than being tired. In breaks, try to do something you love. For example, you can make your favorite drink, listen to some music, comb your hair, paint, or just look at the nature. Remember, rewarding yourself will make you feel that studies are fun, and not a burden.
Tumblr media
4. Give yourself daily motivation. ✌
It's often seen that aspirants start very hard and tend to lose productivity afterwards. Now the reason is that, something has inspired them very much to pursue that as career. But along with the passing time, the motivation streak moves in the backward direction, so is the engagement with studies.
What you can do is just watch something related to your career like your favorite doctor's lectures, or maybe imagining yourself how you will feel when you achieve your goal. I think that's enough to get you back in track. One book I would highly recommend for motivation is Exam Warriors by Narendra Modi. It's really beautiful how he has put almost all the difficulties a student faces along with their effective solutions in a book. You will enjoy reading it.
Tumblr media
5. Take a break from Social Media. 📱
This is vital. I see it as the main thing that distracts many aspirants from their goal and stunts their potential. Even if it's for a week, delete your social media from your cell phone. If you find it difficult, then you can put a lock in your phone when you study, so that you can't easily access them.
Even though social media provides temporary pleasure, but for long term, it is definitely harmful and deviating. I really like a quote by Duolingo(a language learning app)-
"Studying a language for even 15 minutes a day will one day make you master it. But what does 15 minutes of social media do? How does it benefit you?"
Tumblr media
6. Can't focus? 🤔
This is a frequent problem I also faced. I tried to wake up early for studying, but often found myself staring at my notes for the first 10 minutes. Don't worry, many students have this problem. But they say, every problem has a solution hidden. What I did was, everytime I couldn't focus, I would go and wash my face, return to my desk, and write whatever I was thinking. If you are not thinking anything, just write this three times- "I deserve the best. I will achieve my goals. I will be a ___________ (for example, in my case, it's a good surgeon) SOON. You will see that your mind will trick you to get to work for your dream.
Tumblr media
7. You are important. Take care of yourself. 😇
You have seen how much of a havoc CoVID 19 caused. So, it's necessary that you should be fit, both mentally and physically. Study, but don't burn yourself out. Ensure that you are sleeping for at least 6 hours per day. Meditate, dance to your favorite music, or do things in your leisure time that make you happy.
Tumblr media
Studies make you learn something new about the world everyday. You have a lot of potential. All you have to do is train yourself to achieve your goals. All to best! (to me, also ^^;)

The organelles of the cells have been translated into human anatomy, so the nucleus is the brain, the vacuole function as the lungs, and the mitochondria is the heart since it’s the… you already know, I don’t have to say it ;)

STUDY ESSENTIALS
Here's a list of things that you should have when you sit to study in order to reduce distractions
All your books and stationary- make sure you sit with all your books, notebooks, pens, pencils or whatever you need so that you dont have to get up in between.
A bottle of water- stay hydrated!
Headphones/ earphones- if youre someone who likes listening to music, rain sounds or any such thing while studying make sure you have your earphones next to you.
Air conditioner remote control- with this increasing heat you don't want the weather coming in your way
Chargers- your phone or laptop or any other device might fall short of juice so be prepared
Coffee/ tea/ any other drink- have a drink next to you to sip on so you dont feel sleepy
A plan- have a plan made before you actually start studying so that you dont have to waste time thinking what to do and you have a blueprint
In case you feel i have missed something please feel free to let me know, i would love to incorporate it.
Happy studying!!

R you preparing for neet ? Do you have any tips as I'm starting Just now after being cut off from it for 2 years (life happened lol)
Heyy! Yes i am and firstly i just want to say that i'm so proud of you for doing it.
I have a study blog where I share my journey and log my progress. I have already made a few posts there regarding your question. Linking those down :
few tips
more
Beyond this I just want to say that the thing that has worked the best for me is making daily targets and sticking to them. You can follow some productivity challenges to keep you on track.
Also pls do not switch up your teachers very often. Find the ones that suit you the most and stick to them.
BUY A TEST SERIES!!!!!! asap tbh. Offline is even better. i cannot emphasise enough on how imp and beneficial this is. You do not have to do any planning. You have targets and short term targets which help you stick to your aim better. Just go get one as soon as you can.
Get a study partner if that helps you or create a study blog and track your progress.
Take breaks pls. Burnout sucks. It is the worst. Wasting a little time daily is so so so so much better than studying 16 hrs for a week and then being able to do absolutely nothing for the next two weeks. I have done this and like I said before it SUCKS.
Do not try to rush your syllabus. If you need three days for a chapter TAKE YOUR TIME. Revise along with preparing so that you can complete your syllabus in depth and not worry about revision at the end.
Do not skip or shy away from tests. You score 200 or 700 marks, dude no one cares. JUST TAKE THAT TEST. ANALYSEEEEE!!!!!!
I have learnt these things myself during my journey and trust me having no guidance sucks but is also a good way to find out what works the best for you. I can very confidently tell today what works for me and what doesn't. That is what you need to find out for yourself too.
It doesn't matter how much time you take or how many attempts you need. If this is something you love and want just go for it as many times as you must.
Since you are getting into it after a long time I'd say based on personal experience do not join any dropper batch offline because they skip out the basics assuming droppers know a lot which is reasonable. There is a lot of content online that you can refer to and for free. You're stuck on a particular topic just search it up on YT and I'm sure you'd find enough videos to understand. Just stick to NCERT, even for physics and one extra resource. Do not try to do ten books. Just NCERT and one reference book to practise qs from is more than enough. Repeat these two as many times as you can. I have a lot to say lol. If you have any specific questions that you'd like to ask I'd be super happy to help. I hope whatever I said helps you even in the slightest. I'm here whenever you need. Thank you for the ask. All the best for your journey!! 💃🤗
