What Jack lacked in investigative skills, he made up (atleast a little bit) in skills in the paranormal.

He thought after a decade, he thought he could put Juliet behind it all, but those old wounds were opened up when he was hired to look into her case.

If things couldn't get any more complicated, he soon found a new problem with Coll, the alien parasite.

Despite being born into a pretty nice middle class couple, things started to go down when her father died during high school. After the tensions with her mother got to too much, she ran away from home, stealing Jack's car and ruining their relationship.

After almost a decade of soul searching, Juliet had a career, a partner and a kid on the way, but he passed before the birth of their child. Because of a desperate money situation and worsening mental health, Juliet had to give up the custody of her son.

After she started dating Aston Morris, things started looking up again, both in her life and career, but it was cut short because she got abducted by aliens, which cost her life.

Heather Jason was assigned as her coroner, and while originally she just wanted to perform a séance to speak to her ghost, Juliet's spirit ended up possessing her own body, bringing her back as a some sort of a undead monster. Now the question remains, was there more to the aliens?

OC stuff: it takes a lot of energy for Juliet's ghost to control her body so when she needs to rest, her ghost slips into the astral plane. As a psychic, she can see Coll outside the level too, but this level is the most clearest she can see and communicate with them.

It's not that they really get along, but it's kind of a bonding experience for them since nobody else is going through something like this

Midge is the heiress to a galactic megacorporation, MantiCorp that has been in charge of making bit from everything from mining equipment to robotics. Her spot on the line was temporarily gone because of her mother and sisters conspiring to kick her off the board after her father's passing.

After a revenge scheme that took few years to put into motion, she now got back into control of the family corporation. While going through trials and tribulations from losing rusted employees and losing her partner, Midge started planning for the future and planning who would take the corporation over after her.

Midge seems calm and collective on the outside, but she's driven by emotion more often than she'd like to admit. She has enough business savviness to run the operations, but she tends to get emotion drive over logical thinking. One of her biggest projects after getting her hands on the company was a robotics project left by her father, which despite her best attempts, turned out to be a dud for the company.
