I was mulling over what I think makes the Ace Attorney prosecutors such great characters I realized it’s because they’re all different flavors of pathetic. Edgeworth’s arrogance and sincerity clashing and making him awkward and frazzled. Franziska’s desperate directionless anger spilling out the second she’s caught off guard. Godot’s mask slowly breaking down until you realize how defeated he is. Klavier being a bitchy little brat when things start to go wrong. Simon getting so caught up in the persona he uses to protect himself that he forgets how to turn it off. Nahyuta pushing everyone away and throwing himself at death’s door rather than even THINK about asking for help. Sebastian… everything about him, actually
