SINLESS SINNERS SAMPLE

Working through my slump now, so thank you all for being so patient. I was in a full-ass depression, and there's a chance that if this continues, I'll have to go back on my old meds (I've been recovered for about 5 years) - I hope that isn't the case, for while medication is wonderful for all those who need it and there's no shame in depression, I have a feeling that mine might stem from ADHD, which I cannot afford to get diagnosed and there's a 5 year waiting list on the NHS so... I think it'd be treating the wrong thing? Anyway. I'm doing my best, you're all wonderful, and here is the first paragraph I've written in 2 months, of course relating to Lucifer X Reader - Sinless Sinners. It needs polishing, but it's a start.

You woke up on Angel’s bed. The previous night, you two had laughed, danced, ordered pizza and tucked away in his safe haven. In that time, Angel had been reminded of how much his life had improved recently, and how precious his new friends were, and you had allowed yourself to relax, once again reverting to your previous human appearance. Yet, after revealing how you had died twice in a night, the change to look human felt more like a choice rather than the repression of painful emotions; you still had no love for your Demonic appearance, but you felt it wouldn’t be so terrible if it was seen among friends, or if you wanted a break from the low thrum of energy it took to keep your original appearance in place.

Hey there, so I'm back and more importantly, I'm writing again. I went radio silent because of my new job, and a trip I had, then I got ill, and I had a slip back into depression because these things happen from time to time, and although I need the money, I'm not at all suited to my new job.

Anyway, I'm here, I'm trying to get out of this slump, and I'm doing my best.

Patreon is still launching tomorrow, but instead of the aforementioned story, I will be posting a different, much longer one, since I feel the first day deserves that, and it was inspired by my current DND Character Ginger Snap.

The story is set in the fairytale realm and it features the Pied Piper and Hansel and Gretel's Witch.

So, I got gifted Baldurs Gate 3 for my birthday this month.

In my current playthrough on the first town you get to:

My Tav robbed a grave (I was curious)

Got caught doing it. Failed the fight. Got arrested with one health.

In the jail, a mushroom exploded, downing Tav, so I couldn't escape.

I got the gang (Astarion, Gale, Shadowheart) to try to break me out.

They couldn't pick the lock.

So, I tried something else. They got caught stealing and acquiesced to being arrested.

Thought this was a good plan until their gear got locked up so there was no lock pick.

We managed to break out of jail, but we have no gear for a long rest and now the town is hostile to everyone who isn't Tav, purely because Tav is a druid and nobody suspects a cat.

So, I'm doing great.

Patreon Update

Thank you to everyone who voted. Based on these results, I shall create my Patron. I know that typically Patreon accounts go in tiers, but I want everyone to be included, so when I design it, I will have the top 4 results on one tier.

So, on my Patreon, I shall write short original stories, short original storied based on prompts (This does not mean fanfic, because that's for Tumblr and I don't want to get sued for profiting off other people's works), fairytale retellings, and the occasional bit of poetry.

Hi! I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your dedication at making 3 gender versions of Sinless Sinners, you could've gone just gender neutral, or even with the more popular x reader gender being, fem, but you made 3 versions to include as many people as possible

I got genuine tears in my eyes when I saw there was a male version of the fic, as someone transmasc, it can become like doomscrolling when searching for fics even with fem hastags and pronouns filtered out bc most people won't tag nor specify gender yet make the fic fem

So yeah, thank you so much, really. Words cannot express how much I appreciate your extra effort

I appreciate your gratitude, but it seems to me that what I'm doing is the bare minimum. Like, all I have to do while writing is use bold when I use a pronoun that describes the reader, so that when it comes to uploading the chapter, I can find and change the required passages to male or gender-neutral (I always start with fem since I am fem, and it helps put me in the place of the character).

Honestly, that's not a lot of effort, the bar is on the floor for inclusivity. I would like to go back to some of my earlier works and do the same, and in time I will.

I am genuinely honoured that I made you feel included by such a tiny act on my behalf.

I hope other fanfic authors might also do this since X Reader fanfics tend to be more geared toward fem readers. In my one-shots, I use they/them pronouns, but for big stories like this, I don't want anyone to be left behind.

Oh, and how wonderful that you found some comfort in my writings as a trans-masc person. I find that so beautiful. It is amazing that we live in a world where you can be your best self, and I hope to continue providing stories for you.

I've said before that I'm trying to get my novel published. Part of the problem is that my writing is 'subjective.'

That's true, I'm a very opinionated person.

The other part of the problem is Agents are afraid nobody will find my work relatable since the cast is very diverse.

In my first novel, four of the main 5 characters are POC, one is trans-fem, and 3 are LGBTQ+

Frankly, I don't see what's unrelatable there. I'm white, but I relate to the POC characters because of their struggles. I'm also aro-/ace, yet I can relate to the love stories, because it's not odd to yearn for love in any capacity, or to wish to see it in others.

Now, I'm writing my second novel, and this one is for children but that hasn't stopped me from adding a Gender-fluid main character.

I can only hope these might be published one day. I would like the world to be more inclusive.

Now I also have Thoru from Fruits Basket as well. This is to trsin me on different hair styles. Also, there's one of my own characters I found a while ago. I drew what I thought a dog would look like as a person. I might do more per transformations for practice when I get a little better.

Briefly took a break from drawing, but I'm really trying to master manga so that I can start writing mine since I don't have a drawing partner. Oh there's so many stories I want to tell in my life
