I’ve been so busy & stressed the past couple months that I’ve barely read or written anything, I hate it so much when things keep me from or take away the want to do what seems at times like the one thing I truly love. It’s such an awful feeling 😔

I’ve always believed that there is beauty in creation, taking something from inside you, in your mind, & bringing it into physical being. Whether it be a drawing, painting, sculpting, even fabrication such as welding or mechanical like building something, cars, houses, buildings or anything really.
To me that is the definition of true beauty, making something out of seemingly nothing & bringing it into & to life. With that being said, writing also falls into this list of examples but (to me at least) is a whole other level in & of itself.
Yes the finished product typed or printed out, is the same beauty of creation as previously mentioned but then the reader, takes the finished physical product of another’s mind & takes it into their own, once again bringing it to a new life, inside their mind, making it their own. How they interpret the story, characters & settings may differ depending on the reader but that’s the next level, the finished product of the writers creation in physical form, takes on another mental form in the reader’s mind & imagination.
Hope this makes sense, just a thought I’ve been rolling around when my mind is on writing, I’ll try to revise this into a clearer, more precise idea & maybe redo or reblog it if I can do so but this is pretty much how the thought is in my head.

Sometimes I use pen(cil) & paper for notes/ideas for writing & even the Notes app on my phone but I do my main writing/typing on my laptop. I picked up an HP Stream early last summer & 99% of its use is strictly for my writing, rarely use it for even surfing the web & only got on social media maybe twice on it, if that. My writing is done on Microsoft Word & saved with & through several programs on the laptop but I’m curious as to what other writers use. The HP Stream is good for me because it wasn’t expensive, I basically only use it for writing so I don’t feel I need all the bells & whistles of a more expensive laptop. It’s the 14inch & overall it’s light & compact so it’s easily carried & transported without taking up a lot of space. What’s your go-to laptop and application/program for writing?

Working on a few ideas for books, one is a thriller/psychological story I guess is how to describe it, one, well 2 others are horror/psychological & one is I guess a perspective type piece, maybe if I focus on one at a time I could get further along, with a better pace...

Is there such a thing as “reverse writers block”? I know writers block is not having/knowing what to write but what about when you have so much in your mind it kinda bottlenecks as you try to get out what you’re wanting to write... is that a thing or is it just me?
