Jooheon wakes up at 2:37am with a mouth full of cup noodles, which is suspicious considering he doesn’t sleep.

The moon is bright so he decides to go for a jog, with his designer converse, with their entirely impractical insoles (Note from Ezra: Lyndsey’s words, not mine). As he runs down the street, which looks strangely like a New York boulevard, and not a South Korean street, he hears a sound behind him that sound strangely like the Hanna-Barbera running noise, but he ignores it.

He continues to run through Not-Times-Square (which, by the way, is entirely empty save for the bleachers), with the sound slowly getting louder as he approaches the Not-Washington-Memorial, with undertones of Justin Bieber vocals mixed in, and he whirls around.

He’s faced with a man smelling of dove and musky cologne, with about ten huge gold chains missing him by inches.

“You are the famed Disk Jockey Khaled Khaled, are not you?” Jooheon asks, and some how he tastes cup noodles on his tongue. He can’t help but feel a sense of static when the man looks back at him.

“Yeah my son you got the gist, my Monsta X son. Ey, you got the Drake vocals?” he asks, and Jooheon trips back. At the man’s words, the world around him spins and he can’t help but think.

Are we all just Drake vocals living in this DJ Khaled world? How long has it been since he was in that 7/13? How long since the savory taste of cup noodles graced his lips? How long since the… accident?

He whirls around towards the bleachers, and he’s faced with which is essentially a very broad row of stairs, and he’s faced with…

Him.

It's rows upon rows of his own face, wearing his same designer converse, and eating cups upon cups of noodles.

The ground is cold when he hits it.
