Lan Wangji had to admit he had a point.

This tag is probably the best bet for finding WWX was never adopted by the Jiang’s basically! Or looking for anything pre-canon Wangxian?

I checked your tag list and didn’t see one, so do you have recommendations for fics where WWX is raised by a sect other than the Jiangs (especially if it’s the Lans, I haven’t seen that), but not his parents? Or remains on the streets? Alternatively, fics where he leaves/runs away/is forced to leave because of Madam Yu?

Hi @whereisyourcahier! This has been in my ask box for a while because I have been searching for fics that fit this description... There was a specific fic I was looking for that was set post-WWX death, but I haven’t found it yet.

I just updated the tags page to include married and weddings as I realised I hadn’t added them. There is also the post canon tag.

However, this doesn’t actually answer your ask so I’m super sorry but I can’t think of anything right now that I haven’t already posted and I don’t actually think there is anything here that fits your filters :( Hopefully followers can maybe recommend any fics for you, and I will definitely come back to this and update if I come across any! :)

蓝色生死恋; a blue love (to live and to die for) by yiqie Summary: Wei Wuxian separates his life, without noticing, into three chapters. Some days, they’re hard to look at, hard to read, harder to know he wrote all of them himself. Some of the words are in blood.

A Lifetime of It (Please, and Thank You) by misscam Summary: All Wei Wuxian wants is a lifetime of Lan Zhan, please and thank you. If that takes a public wedding at Cloud Recesses to achieve, so be it. First, he just has to get through Lan Qiren’s classes on dignity, restrain himself from being too shameless with Lan Zhan before the wedding, keep Jiang Cheng from scowling himself to death over walking in on intimate moments, keep Jiang Cheng and Lan Zhan from having a go at each other, try to make Lan Xichen as happy as possible and get Jin Ling to call him uncle again.

A far better picture than Wei Wuxian sitting in a inn missing Lan Zhan with every breath after three weeks at Nie Huaisang’s whining about how much he missed Lan Zhan and yet not quite daring to do something about it; meanwhile Lan Zhan is being His Excellency and making the cultivation world hopefully better, but on his own, possibly missing Wei Wuxian as well. (Hopefully missing him, Wei Wuxian is selfish enough to think.) Maybe it’s time to be a little daring – and make the rumors come true, one at a time.
