not everything has to be productive. you are allowed to be a little silly and goofy. you are allowed to rest. take some time for yourself today. there is so much more to life than work, and you deserve to experience it. feel the sun on your face, stretch your body, call a friend, have a little fun. your work will not suffer for it & will be there when you’ve had some time.

Self care isn’t just drinking water and going to sleep early. Self care is taking a break when things become overwhelming, saying no to things you do not want to do, allowing yourself to cry, asking for help from those around you, doing things that make you happy.

list of things your grades don’t show:
how kind you are
how hard you’re working
how much rest you’re giving yourself
how much your friends love you
how funny you are
how good you are at baking bread
how many dirty dishes you did even when it was hard
the things you’ve suffered that you’re still having to carry around
how nice your shampoo smells
literally almost all of the most endearing and important things about you

Is there any positive side in ADHD?
Well it depends on what you consider positive...but:
Creative solutions to weird problems.
Being able to perform under pressure while other people panic (if the pressure is something extraordinary, not if it's an everyday thing).
Trying a lot of new things/hobby
Being able to deep focus for a looooong ass time, on very specific topics and retain a lot of info about it
Ability to function in chaos
Being able to recognize a lot of patterns
Idk these are the ones I feel a little bit more closer to me...feel free to add more ☺️

Hard to swallow pills #9
If someone has a problem with you and refuse to speak to you, BUT talk with everyone else about the problem that they have with you, they don't really have a problem with you, they're enjoying the attention they get from speaking about you.
Why is this an hard to swallow pill?
Because it can apply to you too.

✨Glimmer✨
Is the opposite of "trigger". Glimmers are all those sensory and non sensory stimuli that soothe our anxiety and fears. Little sparks of peace/safety/joy.
This term was created by Deb Dana, it's unofficial for now but I think it's lovely. For the meaning itself, which is adorable, and because it gives a name, to all those moments of happiness that we tend to recognize less than our triggers.
Imo, the best glimmers are perfumes, because they work fast asf, BUT I'm a fan of soft stuff such as blankets or cozy clothes ☺️

Healing Relationships
Things you should navigate with your partner at the beginning of a love story…to have a healing relationship
Do you have any boundaries/limitation about anything? Something that I should know at the start?
What do you need, specifically, in order to feel emotionally safe and secure inside our relationship?
How do I know/recognize if you're getting triggered? What do you think it's the best caring response from me? Any suggestion?
How can I help you feel most confident in the bedroom?
In your opinion, what are the mistakes you tend to make in a relationship, and you want to avoid in this one?
What's your biggest relationship fear? How do you think we should adress it?
Do you feel comfortable with the pace of our relationship? You think we're going too fast/too slowthe right pace?
What makes it hard for you to be your authentic self inside a relationship, and how can I contribute to make it easier for you?
What did you not hear enough in your last relationship and you want to hear more?
