“Yeah alright I’ll reblog that” is for posts that are like “hi my name is iphone charger and I love abortion” not for art the op spent hours on, whether it’s funny art or not 🤨

🔮
@deathlistenstoher | Send 🔮 and I will write a drabble of a memory that your muse gets to see into.
Haleth hissed at the other boy, swinging her arm back to punch him. How dare he? Attack ‘Dar for something that wasn’t his fault? Call him that? She’d show him. But a hand grabbed hers’ before she could punch, and Haldar whispered loudly, right in her ear, “Please stop. You’ll get in trouble again.”
She shrugged off his hand with an eyeroll, but didn’t continue the punch. Instead she just glared at the boy until he got the message and ran away. Idiot. She could find him later. And then she turned her glare onto her twin, crossing her arms grumpily. “What? I could’ve had him easily.”
“You punched him yesterday, and the other boys the day before. I just don’t want you to end up in trouble with Ma’am again.” His eyes pleaded with her, utterly earnest in their sincerity, and Haleth sighed.
It didn’t matter how strongly she felt in her opinions, that face always made her weak. She looked away so she wouldn’t have to see his reaction, and said, “I’m not going to stop just because you want me to. They don’t deserve to be let away with those comments.”
A pause.
Haldar gripped her hand tightly again, and started pulling her back towards home. “If you have to keep fighting, you’re going to do it properly.”

Hey!
I don’t tend to do very much writing anymore, but I have a lot of headcanons (posted and otherwise) about Haleth, the Haladin, and Edain at large, plus a few Haleth-focused fics.
I love talking about them and doing worldbuilding so you’re more than welcome to come hit me up
I'm so glad to have found an edain focused blog, we there any other blogs like yours that focus mostly on the edain side of things?
Hey anon, I can recommend some other Edain RP blogs if you're interested?
@xfelvesandmen writes Haleth
@strengthandvigour writes Tuor
@the-heart-vigor writes Huor
@morwenfairaself writes Morwen
@hurin-son-of-galdor writes Húrin
As for general Edain content, I follow some but I think most of them are no longer active, or I haven't seen them on my dash for a while:
@houseofhaleth
@teamedain
There are some excellent blogs out there too that will occasionally post thing about the Edain and I reblog on here, if you have a look through my #team edain tag you'll find some.

More deep muse questions
1- Does your muse have something they wish they could unlearn? 2- What question would they most like to know the answer to? 3- What one thing would they do if it was impossible to fail? 4- What makes them feel most alive? 5- What small act from a stranger made the biggest impact in their lives? 6- What would they regret not doing? 7- If they could talk to their younger self, what would they say? 8- What is something they need to let go of? 9- Do they trust anyone with their life? 10- What is something they are certain they will never experience?

Never assume that an RP blog ships a certain thing unless they’ve stated otherwise. Even if that ship is canon to their character.
Do not assume that a muse is aware of everything that happens in their story. Some muses are AU, or are taken from earlier on in the story.
Don’t judge someone’s characterization from a single post or thread. You don’t know how things developed to get them to that point.
Realize that muses are not static things. Everyone’s portrayal and development is different. It would be so boring if everyone played the same character the same way.

Breakdown of the Rings From Least to Greatest*
(*Feel free to reblog this, but it is not perfect canon. It’s as close as I can make it with the information given, then filled in with headcanons.)
The Minor Rings
Unadorned and adorned versions, made with many different types of metal/jewels/etc. None particularly powerful in and of themselves, but each with the ability to enhance one aspect of the person wearing them. Mostly experimentation and not really meant for anyone, but still regularly worn by the Gwaith-i-Mirdain.
The Nine
All of them increase the bearer’s life expectancy dramatically and let them turn invisible (with the unfortunate-and unknown to everyone except Annatar-side effect of turning them into Nazgul). They also grant a general increased sharpness of mind, charisma, and physical and emotional strength. Each is also designed specifically for the group they were meant for to make life easier on them (the ones for the Southmen, for example, are supposed to amplify the Druedain’s natural abilities), but there is no guarantee they actually went to the intended recipients.
Three–pearl with gold–were meant for the Numenoreans, two–amethyst and gold–were meant for the Northmen, two–peridot and gold–for the Southmen, and two–golden beryl and gold–for the Men who lived to the East (though who, exactly, they were was questionable). All were intended to be named by their recipients.
The Seven
These are a lot more personalised then the Nine. Alongside the same general ability increases as the Nine, they also are designed to both make it easier to find one type of natural material, and do one particular type of craft better. An unforeseen side effect of that is dragon-sickness and greed in the bearer, especially for the more powerful of these rings.
The least powerful is for the Firebeards, and is intricately carved silver, meant to help with finding pewter and quicksilver and mining without collapse. They didn’t try to make it weaker than the others because of Menegroth, but it ended up that way regardless.
Next is the Ironfists’, made of silver and copper, and meant to help find copper/make bronze and make forging more efficient.
Then the Stonefoots’, made of silver with gold, and meant to help find silver and make intracite craftsmanship easier.
The Broadbeams’ is made of steel and silver, and supposed to help with iron/steel production and making better armor and weaponry. The use is because they were remembered for fighting in the Union of Maedhros, and it would have been more powerful if it didn’t have to be durable.
The Stiffbeards’ is made of carved gold, and supposed to help in finding precious stones and the carving/uses of them.
The Blacklocks’ is gold with silver, and meant to help in the finding of gold and trading.
The most powerful is for Durin’s Folk (Longbeards), specifically Durin III. Made of gold inlaid with mithril, it was supposed to make finding mithril easier and allow the dwarves to continue to create ithildin even without the help of an elf who can use Song. It survived the longest of the Seven, but also was partially responsible for the Balrog and Smaug so, questionable luck there.
The Three
The Three were made by Celebrimbor alone, and are significantly more powerful than the Seven. They are all concerned with healing, protection, and some aspect of creation, and were intended to be used together to make Arda what it had been before the War of Wrath.
Narya is the least powerful of them. It’s primarily meant for craftsmanship and is the most grounded of the three, capable of being used on its own to manipulate basic elements or combined with the others to change composition of areas, etc. It’s made of a carved ruby set in a gold band.
Nenya is evenly between Narya and Vilya and required to make the other two work together. It’s capable of fostering life that would otherwise be too weak to live, encouraging growth, etc. and is the most protective of the three. It’s made of entwined strands of mithril and a diamond.
Vilya is the most powerful. It lets the wearer see further afield than they naturally could, and, if they already have the gift, can enhance foresight. It’s the most similar to the element it’s named for and actually uses the wind to do whatever the bearer wants. It’s made of a dark sapphire in a gold band.
