genuinely one of the worst things that’s happened to television in the last few years (exacerbated by streaming services) is death of Filler. going from 20 episodes to 8 because “we didn’t really need that episode where the main characters went to the beach right? it had no long lasting effect” but we DID!!! we needed to see how they act without the Big Bad Plot and to establish the dynamics between the characters and lay in the sun (do they forget sunscreen? how do they react to a thieving seagull? do they get buried in the sand or do they do the burying?). the plot isn’t everything. the action doesn’t hit as hard without the quiet moments. give us character development and our little scenes back

While it’s absolutely legit to be mad at Ronen and disappointed you cannot say that everyone who reblogs his photos is a bad person. A lot of people don’t follow celebrities and/or the tags and just see a pretty picture on their dash without knowing what the person said/did. And while I agree that we does now is unforgivable- it doesn’t mean that everything he did or said in the past has to be unauthentic or for selfish reasons only. It’s entirely possible that he very much cares for all the causes he supports. Just because he isn’t outspoken on a topic (like for trans rights) doesn’t mean he doesn’t care. Maybe it’s because he isn’t as knowledgeable on it and doesn’t want to say the wrong thing. Just because he or likes to shine attention on his activism doesn’t mean it’s not important to him. Let’s not forget we don’t know him as a person just the carefully crafted media persona (which is absolutely valid/ celebrities don’t owe us anything). Plus people are never just one thing heroes or villains etc. They are good, bad and everything in between. People can do good things and bad things simultaneously. Yes, be mad about his war mongering but please distinguish and don’t differentiate everything.
