i’m still so hung up on acosf and here’s why

i just came to the conclusion that nesta’s bargain tattoo is a representation of the north star

now hear me out: the north star is always constant in the sky, same place every time, you can rely on it in a sense

now nesta only had that tattoo through making a bargain with cassian, someone who would always be there for her

the reason nesta was given this specific tattoo was because cassian was her true north, she could always rely on him when she needed help

The fact that Elain gets away with being the most selfish character in ACOTAR because she's "sweet and kind to everyone," but Nesta keeps getting treated like garbage when she's the one always saving everyone's asses.

Nesta would never let anyone treat Elain the way Elain lets people treat Nesta.

Nesta deserves a better sister. Thankfully, she now has two better sisters.

Sometimes I like to think that Nesta constantly wears Cassian’s shirts and sweaters to sleep since they’re big, smell like him, and they balloon around her. That and because he gets just a little bit more possessive at seeing her with them on. It does something to him that lingerie doesn’t.

However that’s not the post. It’s that there are holes in the back of his shirts as we know and I like to imagine that there’s buttons all along the slits to accommodate a wide variety of wing spans and shapes so Cassian frequently will button those for her and kiss at her shoulder when one side slips down her arm. Nesta could button them sure, but all bedroom routines are sacred and routine and so Cassian buttons them and rolls up the sleeves if they’re too long for her.

ok i’m a personal big fan of the whole theory that amren’s true form was some level of sofie’s thunderbird power because in ACOWAR amren is described as being made of pure energy and light, as well as having feathered wings. now in HOSAB we don’t know very much about sofie’s powers, but she is supposedly able to draw “great masses of energy.” AND WHAT DID AMREN DO IN ACOWAR TO HYBERN’S ARMY?!?
