Blog Update:

So It seems I had been shadow banned because I had not verified my email.

I’m even not sure how long I was shadowbanned but I didn’t notice at first because I’m not that active on Tumblr. My posts were not appearing in any of the tags I was using and when I tried to interact with other bloggers they did not appear to even notice my existence. I didn’t realize the issue was with my email until I tried to create a secondary blog.

I submitted a ticket to tumblr support staff who followed up with me and helped me to verify my email. It took about 2 days from the time I submitted a ticket to resolve the issue. Thankfully my blog appears to be functioning normally now so I can continue posting my theories and whatever. Im thinking of posting theories on my secondary blog instead of my main but idk yet. Anyways I’m glad things are back to normal....

In all honesty Alyal sounds kinda weird but it makes sense from an etymological standpoint

Al’s real name??

Because I’m certain that “Al” is just a nickname I have a few suggestions about what their real name could be. It’s possible that their full name is some kind of anagram to Layla’s name. I made a few guesses by rearranging her name several ways, then did some etymological research to back up my theory.

The nickname “Al” could be short for Alyal

The word “Alyal” is simply the name “Layla” backwards. Alyal is a word of Arabic origin and means something like “very dark long (night)”.

This is interesting because Layla’s name is also of Arabic origin and also means “night”.

Or perhaps Al is short for Alayl? Which another anagram of Layla’s name.

Alayl doesn’t seem to be a real word with any meaning, but the word “Alayl” sounds similar to “al-Layl” which is the name of the 92nd sūrah (chapter) of the Qur’an which also coincidentally translates to “The Night”. From what I read that chapter of the Qu’ran contrasts two types of people, the charitable and the miserly. (Hmmm).

But yeah....I’m gonna stop here cause I’m not sure where I’m going with this lol...Al’s full name could be something else entirely. I’m honestly just throwing ideas out here.
