Not sure if you saw, but allegations of transphobia are being put against you by calxiyn on twitter.
you may wish to address them.
I've been made aware through various platforms. I'm not transphobic, I'm fully in support of adults living their lives to the fullest and expressing themselves however they please, transitioning or just being gender non-conforming, or any other way they please. People are at their best when they can be who they are. That's pretty much all I have to say that's relevant on that topic.
I guess they'll exhaust themselves at some point, there isn't much drama to feed from on my accounts tbh. Aside from that... idk. I'm not going to let strangers bully me into deciding what I can or can't read, or what accounts I can or can't follow. That's how people end up in echo chambers :/
What do you think of the fancanon that Winter actually dyes her hair white? Because she has black eyebrows and Jacque's hair is black
I don't like it at all and I think it's highly unlikely that Winter would do that lol
First, I don't think she's fussy like that. Winter tried to make herself into a machine, that was her mindset as she prepared herself to be the winter maiden; she was making herself into a weapon into Ironwood's hands. Someone who is trying to be as mechanical as possible wouldn't be bothering with something so aesthetic as hair color.
Second, if she did have black hair, and if she were to dye it white there would only be two reasons for her to dye it:
1) She would WANT to look like a Schnee, which would mean that she would be especially attached to the renown and prestige that it brings, but she very much separated herself from the Schnee estate.
2) She would be trying to go out of her way to not look like Jacques. But by dyeing her hair, she would be doing the exact same thing HE is doing by dyeing his white to look like the Schnee name, so that would make her more like him than ever. I think that should Winter have had black hair, she would be more likely to entirely shave it than to bother dyeing it lmao
So all in all, no. Winter has naturally white hair because the Schnee genes are strong lol
Nope. I still think the character designs are cool, but back when I was into this ship, we knew right about nothing about them as people. We didn't even know who Salem was or that Cinder was working for her. All that unknown left space for us to speculate about their goals and personalities, and the mystery made them both intriguing.
But now we know both characters much better, and it turns out that Raven didn't have good reasons to abandon Yang + she's a pussy, and that Cinder is just a power monger (and not a sort of well-intentioned extremist or Ubermensch type of character which I hoped she was).
So.. they aren't characters I'm specially interested in anymore, not enough to vigorously ship them with each other or with anyone.
I'm still making the occasional art here and there, although I don't think I've drawn them together in years
Do you plan to continue “Marble to Skin”? Sorry if this has already been answered😣
don't be sorry, I understand the question since its been so long since I've released a chapter ^^;
I'm working on it, yes. I'm extremely slow at writing because I divide my time with Patreon/drawing, and because I write extremely long chapters which I rework endlessly lol
Add to this, I wanted to finish writing Brighter before I moved on with Marble to Skin and had put it aside for a while because of that. I DID finish Brighter (with an extremely long chapter of 38 000 words lol) in march and have been slowly working my way through chapters 5 and 6 of Marble to Skin.
I don't think I can finish chapter 5 this month because I took commissions and that comes first, but for sure before the end of the summer.
